Hi, I am Michelle, one of the co-founders of Travelology. I have been around the travel industry my entire life (thanks to my family's connection to the industry), which means traveling has always been a huge part of my life! Travelology was founded based on our mutual passion for travel and the power it can have in someone’s life.

I started traveling domestically and internationally at a very young age. I have been to several countries with my first international trip being before I was even 2 years old! This has of course included a lot of traveling by plane but also by trains and cruises. Starting to travel at such a young age created a desire in me to help others see everything that the world has to offer by experiencing different cultures, enjoying the beauty of nature all over the globe, visiting huge cities and small villages, tasting new foods, seeing history come to life, and more! I love helping others learn about all there is to do in the world. I want to push you to get out of your comfort zone and explore something new!

Since opening Travelology, I have become a Certified Travel Advisor (CTA). However, before Travelology, my professional career had been in healthcare and marketing. My background in healthcare, marketing, and a B.S. in Applied Communication has equipped me with a strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, an excellent ability to problem solve, and strong communication skills. These qualities combined with my passion for travel are what led me to co-found our family-owned travel agency.

I really do love to travel, but the good news is that I live in beautiful San Diego, California. This means that even when I’m not traveling, I am still in a pretty great place! My other favorite things to do include anything that I can do with my dog, Winter. So of course, I also love traveling with her whenever it’s possible!
