I just wanted to take a moment to say hey y'all. I'm Shannon Daniels, the owner and agent behind Destination Vacation by Shannon. With a personal passion for travel, mixed with Internet ADD, I have always loved planning our family trips, adventures, and endeavors. January 2020, as a new year's resolution, I started my own agency to create memorable vacations for others. This is what I do & I absolutely love it.

I handle all sorts of travel arrangements but I especially love all things cruising, Disney, Mexico, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. This is especially fun and exciting when groups gather for family reunions, weddings, anniversaries, and other celebrations. Every trip, I research just like my own family will take that same trip. Secretly, I am dreaming of planning it for us too. I am not so sure my husband appreciates my imaginary budget. Just know, I'm here to do for you what I'd do for my own family. How did I get here?

Travel as much as you can, as often as you can.

Originally I'm a southern girl from North Carolina.  After a dozen years in the US Army as a Flight Paramedic, I decided to get out, plant my roots somewhere permanent, and enjoy life with my family.  My first real job outside the Army was working, again, as a Flight Paramedic in west Texas.  For those that don't know EMS life, you're destined to work 12-24 hours shifts.  After long hours and constantly missing my family, I decided to hang my hat in the aviation world.  My husband and I had two more beautiful boys and family became our number one focus.  I still work part-time as a paramedic; however, missing that passion for travel, I started my own agency as a New Year's Resolution a few years back.  I haven't looked back since.
