Every November for the last 15 years, I have escorted a group trip to Ireland. Can you guess where I really love to travel?

After 25 years in the business, I have done it all, but truly specialize in Ireland, Italy, custom arranged tours in Europe, cruising, and family trips to Disney. 

Thanks to the great help of my husband and a Certified Travel Counselor, Dennis Hubbs, every guest on one of my Ireland Getaways receives a DVD with photos of the trip, set to music.

I love to customize Italian tours for clients, overseeing all aspects of the adventure such as:

I have been a Master Cruise Counselor for 20+ years and have taken over 25 voyages myself.  D&D Travel is a Princess Commodore and Alaska Certified Agency.

What does this mean for you?

Having traveled to Alaska myself, I know the best things to do and see in each port of call. I can tell you what restaurant to have lunch in, which glacier tour to take, where to buy the best souvenirs that are actually made in Alaska, and where to get the best photos. I can even help clients select the stateroom with the best vantage point for seeing the glaciers!

I am a very effective problem solver when snags occur. I once had a client whose luggage did not arrive during an Italy trip. They were getting on a cruise in 36 hours and needed their luggage! I tracked it down through the airline and found it was still at Dulles Airport. I was able to have it delivered to them before they left on the cruise.

When I’m not traveling, we are committed to helping our community. I do Social Ministry work in East Hartford, Connecticut, with a program called "Faith Moves." We accept donated furniture and household goods and deliver them to people who move from homelessness to apartments. I also purchase beds and appliances for people through East Hartford Interfaith Ministries as the coordinator for a program called "New Beginnings."
