Hi! My name is Mike Ellis, and I am a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations! I've been a Pixie for over ten years now, and have all the experience needed to help you have an incredible vacation! In addition to working for Pixie Vacations, I also run my own technology business -- which is very handy when trying to navigate some of the tech issues that we run into from time to time! You can find me all over the Internet at various website. My OG site was started before I became a travel agent. It's called My Dreams of Disney and can you believe I started the site just as a way to keep a digital memory of our past trips to Disney? Look where we are now! In addition, I also have Go Beyond the World for non-Disney writing. You can also find me at Pixie Vacations by Mike, which is my business site. Lastly, my daughter Sophie and I and our friend Brenda host a podcast called On the Road with Mickey. We're in our fourth year now, and you can find us on all of the podcast platforms, as well as in video form at our YouTube channel!
Before all of that, though, I was a kid who went to the Magic Kingdom for the first time when I turned 11 years old in 1979. Since that time, I've grown up loving Disney Parks, Movies, Music, and all that goes with that, and I've now introduced my wife and daughter to the magic of Disney as well.
My philosophy with my clients is simple. It is my goal every single time to help my clients have the best Disney vacation possible, while at the same time saving them money along the way. I know firsthand how much it costs to go to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, on a Disney Cruise, or to Aulani or on an Adventures by Disney trip, so it is extremely important to me that my clients enjoy themselves and not stress of planning details, dining reservations, Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane selections, or how much it's going to cost. For me, my slogan says it all: We are in the business of Making Memories for my clients, one vacation at a time.

Mike was such a pleasure to work with. We surprised our children/grandchildren with a trip to Disney for Christmas and had not been in 10 years. So much had changed, but Mike made it so easy. Our EPIC family vacation!

Mike was great to work with. Easy to communicate with either by phone or via e-mail. Our trip was indeed EPIC, and I feel like Mike was integral in making that happen. The whole process was simple, I called told him where we wanted to go, and gave him a budget. He gave me many options, with absolutely no pressure! In the end, I wound up upping my budget, but he was able to get us so much more value in our trip! I will use Pixievacations.com again for sure!

First trip to Disney World!

When my husband and I decided we were taking all 5 grandchildren, along with their parents to Disney, I knew that Mike was the perfect person to help us with our very first Disney trip! With his love for Disney, we couldn't go wrong!He had great suggestions, pointed us in the right direction, got us the biggest bang for our buck and included a gift for each of us, Mickey ears!

The most magical vacation ever!

Mike is a very organized and thorough travel agent, he does not forget a detail. Besides making your hotel stay Mike also makes dinner reservations and fast pass reservations when staying on a Disney property. Both my dauter and myself have food allergies and when we would check in at a restraunt they would already know. It was fabulous. Mike also remembers what holiday or birthday you celebrating. He is diligent in making sure you get the best deal and if it goes on sale will make sure you get the best price. I could not ask for a better travel agent.
