Hello!

My name is Douglas (Doug) Grout; I'm a Travel Specialist with Luxevo Vacations and I'm currently based out of Central Ohio. I've recently (2022) begun my journey as a Travel Specialist / Agent and I can't tell how excited I am to be back into the travel arena once again.

I've been traveling on and off over the past thirty plus years experiencing some of what this wonderful world has to offer with travel. Some of my travel has come via the military, some from corporate business travel, some from my own companies and some just personal trips to engage in experiences that have created memories of a lifetime.

I'm a former United States Navy Aircrew In-flight Avionics Technician during Operation Desert Storm / Shield where I experienced over 15 plus countries during those six years of service. Most of my travels during this time were located around the Far East, Middle East, Central America, Pacific and Australia to name a few.

After my military days, my short stints in the corporate world found me at CompuServe / AOL coordinating their trade shows and thus my first endeavor into corporate / group travel. After CompuServe, I decided that building my own dreams were more important and opened my first of two organizations; Run Wild Racing was my baby for many years managing endurance events all over the U.S.A. and Canada.

After the Run Wild days, I focused on business, event and small business consulting, which allowed for further travel to wonderful destinations like South Africa, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica and a few others. 

As I've become a little older and a little wiser, my wife and I have begun to focus our "Golden" years plan on travel for ourselves, but even more important is to help other people experience what the world has to offer. We believe that "life is a Journey", so why not experience everything you can making your own memories of a lifetime.
