I'm Lindsay Smith, the passionate spirit behind L+S Travel. My journey into the world of travel planning began in 2008, right after my unforgettable destination wedding at Sandals South Coast. That picturesque romance spurred my interest in helping others craft their own unique travel experiences.Whether it's designing bespoke itineraries across the continent of Europe, or thrilling safaris in the plains of Africa, I enjoy utilizing my understanding and appreciation of different cultures to create meaningful travel plans. Each plan I create is as distinctive as the traveler on the journey.
Of all the places I've been, South Africa holds a special place in my heart. Mesmerized by the rich culture, vibrant wildlife, and the sheer energy of the place, it continually fills me with a sense of adventure and tranquillity, reminding me why I fell in love with travel in the first place.
Throughout more than a decade in this industry, my passion for creating unforgettable travel experiences for my clients has never wavered. Every trip, be it a brief escape or a month-long exploration, is a new opportunity for me to help you create your own remarkable travel memory.

Lindsay and her team are awesome. They added my wife and I to a group trip at the last minute without any issues. They were professional and friendly. I especially liked the detailed emails on what to bring, tipping, and other resort specifics since it was our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort. I have worked with Lindsay at L+S Travel twice now - once as a guest for a destination wedding in Mexico in 2016, and recently (2024) for a birthday trip in the Dominican Republic. Both trips have been some of the best times of my life! Working with Lindsay and her staff is super easy, and I love how organized they are. There was even an app with all my personal information/confirmations that made me feel at ease with traveling to another country. And I felt well-prepared for all the extra steps required for traveling to and from the D.R. Everything went smoothly, from planning to the actual travel including excursions. I haven't lived in the Baltimore area for 7+ years now, but will continue to reach out to L+S Travel for big trips in the future.

Lindsay has served us over the last decade and is always enthusiastic about helping us find the perfect vacation. She always gives us multiple locations and room options for specific dates that we need. Her email communications are informative and give us all of the information we need to complete tasks in the days leading up to our trip. I trust Lindsay, knowing that if we have any problems that she will be available and willing to help us through it. We had a fantastic time staying at Royal Barbados this April (2024). My wife and I got some much needed rest and indulgence. Some memorable moments were snorkeling the sunken ships, swimming with a sea turtle, the food, the white attire silent headphone dj party, swimming in every single pool, Butches/Soy/La Parisienne/Chi, bowling, and did I mention the fantastic food? LOL Seriously we had the time of our lives. Thanks so much Lindsay!

Lindsay was fantastic to work with! From the initial meeting of trying to figure out where we wanted to go all the way through getting home from the trip, she was extremely helpful. I have to commend her patience as well when dealing with an anxious traveler (me) who had a million questions. She was quick to respond and never left us hanging with assistance. Even in Cancun when I was having a hard time trying to confirm our return transportation to the airport, she worked with me to find the best way to contact the driver/company and we quickly got it taken care of. When dealing with big trips like this, it's so reassuring to have an expert take care of all of the little things and have all of the information readily accessible and easy to understand! This wasn't our first time working with Lindsay and it certainly won't be the last. We can't wait to book the next one. I would recommend this agent to my family and friends
