Hi, I'm Julie. For over 18 years now I have been working as a Firefighter and EMT. You probably didn't expect to read that, did you? Well, I am not like other travel professionals. Being a first responder is the reason I developed a love for travel. I have had the opportunity to work internationally, in multiple states as well as on disaster missions.  

I came to find that during my down time, I was always reading travel blogs, destination guides, restaurant reviews and everything in between. Planning the finest details of a trip was my passion. Upon hearing this, a retired travel agent friend encouraged me to share what I knew with my friends. I found that I enjoyed planning their trips. This led me to officially form Postcard Getaways. As a remote business, there's no need to worry about reaching me during office hours or at an office at all! 

As your personal travel adviser, I will provide you with the same professionalism, dedication and service that has been instilled in me as a first responder. I provide exclusive one-on-one service, in-depth planning, and personal support for all of my clients, tailored to your individual need and comfort level. There is no pressure to book or exceed budgets. I am always available should you need to contact me. You are given my private phone number for your use at any time. From the moment you decide for us to work together until you return home, I view us as a partnership (and hopefully for many years thereafter).
