I started in the travel business in 1986 when I attended Cal Simmons Travel School and graduated at the top of my class. My first job in the travel business was with a storefront travel agency in Virginia. I took a break while raising my four kids. I got back into the business in 2015 working as an independent travel adviser for Cruises Inc. In 2021 my husband Tim and I purchased our Dream Vacations franchise.

My first cruise was in 2003. My husband and I took our family on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Western Caribbean. Since then we have cruised on several cruise lines and traveled to destinations, including Alaska, New England, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe. I specialize in cruises but have also helped clients with all kinds of travel such as All Inclusive Resorts, Disney vacations, European destinations, and even a rail trip across Canada.

I just love traveling and exploring new places, cultures, and food, going on excursions, or wandering on our own. Cruising has been my favorite type of vacation. I have a great time with all the onboard activities, the food, meeting new people, and being pampered by the crew. It is nice to visit several countries in one trip and only unpack once.

All-Inclusive Resorts are another one of my favorite travel destinations. I enjoy the food, being pampered by the staff, and relaxing by the beach.

As a travel agent, I can take away the time and stress of planning and just let my clients look forward to their trips. But, for me, the best part is when they return from their vacation. I get to see the pictures and hear about their adventures. There is nothing like knowing I helped make their dream vacation a reality.
