In 2021, I went from "wait travel agents are still a thing?" to starting Smiley Travel. My agency began as a way to help people have awesome travel experiences! I took care of all the stressful stuff, so my clients were left with more time to smile.

Over the years, Smiley Travel has grown quite a bit. I’ve helped with everything from BIG family vacations to intimate honeymoons. I have over 500 active clients and have worked on trips spanning over more than 30 different countries. I love being my clients' biggest advocate and curating their perfect vacation.

My “Smiley Travelers” and their experiences are my top priority. My work is all about YOU and how you want to travel. Whether I'm working with accessibility needs or being an ally on a LGBTQ honeymoon, I love unique trips! And I take pride in making a safe space for all my clients. I also love unique destinations. Although I specialize in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, I love "outside the box" trips too. I have sent clients to Morocco, Japan, the Galapagos and more! If you can dream it, we can do it. In fact, I may have already done it! 

And that means big or small too. So far, I have worked with many groups, like a 50-somethings friend-group headed on a cruise-tour to Alaska. I have also planned a destination wedding in Jamaica with over 40 guests from all over the world.

Otherwise some of my favorite trips include multi-destination Europe adventures and beach trips with the whole family. I work with Expedia a lot, because my clients appreciate boutique experiences. But I also hold several cruise and all-inclusive certifications (ie: Sandals & Beaches Vacations, Virgin Voyages, ALGV, AMResorts and more), because my clients appreciate my expertise with these top-booked experiences.  

My agency is award winning! I have received Expedia TAAP Top Producing Agent several times and am Pinnacle Status with KHM Travel Group. In 2024 I was also nominated for Travel Agent Central's 30 Under 30. I credit these awards and certifications to my clients.

Sustainability, along with diversity and equity in travel are a passions of mine as well. And I show this through the trips I book and education certificates I seek -- like Certified Autism Travel Professional, and Certified Accessible Travel Advocate. Additionally, I serve on the KHM Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, along with the Association of Black Travel Professionals and the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association. Through this work, I work to make travel more accessible for all. 

But how did I get started with Smiley Travel? Growing up, some of my favorite memories came from our family vacations. That fondness for travel only grew when I studied abroad in college. I had unique opportunities to do so in both Jamaica and Mexico. These experiences are what solidified by passion for travel. And it made me determined to help EVERYONE travel. I mean, what's better than planning people's dreams?! In the future, I hope to give YOU the trip of your dreams too.
