I love the adventure of travel. Seeing new places, meeting new people, and enjoying great cuisine from around the world.

As a child, my family developed a keen interest in travel for all of us in the family. We spent time seeing the world through the eyes of wonder. I have always wanted to have the opportunity to share that with others. I love to plan and help people take trips and adventures that will last a lifetime.

So Calypso Travel Adventures is the place I can help others enjoy the opportunity to see the places they have always dreamed of going to. The name Calypso comes from the Hot Air Balloon we own. It seemed only fitting that we draw from the name of our travels with Hot Air Ballooning to create a company that specializes in travel.

Kids first cruise!

She is fantastic! We needed a kid friendly cruise. She gave us options and we discussed what would work best for my family. She answered all of my questions leading up to the trip. The ship had tons of activities to keep the kids busy on cruising days - pools, arcades, sports, rock climbing, ziplining to name a few. The room had bunk beds so each kid had their own space. From the balcony we could see the water and also the stage for some shows. Our excursion while at port were so fun! The kids loved interacting with all the animals and my son got his wish to go to the beach. She even checked on us during the trip to make sure we were having a good time. We had the best time!! I will use her to plan all of our trips!

Adventure of a lifetime!

I contacted Genevieve, Leigh about a trip to Alaska to watch whales and view glaciers. She got back to my husband and I immediately. Leigh presented several options with a variety of price options. We reviewed our options and selected a cruise to Alaska. Leigh also helped us with booking the flights and hotel. She is very patient and thorough as she walks you through the planning process. She sent reminders for important actions needed. It was a very enjoyable trip with no unexpected issues. We had an adventure of a lifetime time viewing the whales and glaciers.
