Leisure Vacation Agent

In 1981, I attended McConnell Travel school in Minneapolis MN, and have been in the travel business ever since. With 38 years of experience, I have traveled to many countries worldwide including Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, most of Canada, and the USA. First-hand knowledge is a very important aspect of my job and I really enjoy the opportunity to travel and learn all I can about a new destination. Seeing different resorts at a destination is very important when helping my clients with their travel plans. Everyone has different tastes and needs when going on vacation.

I have been to the island of Jamaica 14 times and consider it one of my favorite islands in the Caribbean. I also have been on several different cruises both in the Caribbean and Hawaii. After sailing on 2 European river cruises, I can also share my experience with that aspect of cruising as well.

Helping customers get the most of their vacation budget is important to me. There are so many options available now with shopping for that "good" deal. It is very important for me to listen and advise my customers and work with their vacation budget. Customer service is of the utmost importance to me. I want my customers to always feel they have someone to help them from beginning to end.

Working with Valarie provides peace of mind to the travel experience. It's fun to try to plan vacation online by yourself, but she provides insight, suggestions, and has contacts all over the world. we have always had great service and help from VAL. she knows our likes, our favorites, best travel times, etc. We had a family member pass away mere hours before leaving for Mexico, so we had to cancel. VAL told us get going (home) and she would handle everything. We got our travel insurance check in record time! she makes lots of recommendations and also listens to our raves about resorts. We always us VAL at First Choice to do all our bookings for all our trips. hassle free, quick, easy and fun.

My wife and I have been utilizing Val's skills since 1999. She makes making travel plans a breeze. She always finds the good deals allowing us to avoid hours on the computer trying to not get ripped off! Its also a great feeling to know if anything does happen that Val is just a call, click, or text away to take care of any problems. A few years back we had a death in the family, and at the last minute we had to leave town, just as our tracel to Mexico was to start. Val sent us home and promised to take care of everything. She came through and we had full refunds within a matter of days. I highly recommend Val at First Choice Travel for all you bookings and travel needs.
