From the Maldives to Maui: My Adventures in Crafting Dream Honeymoons and Destination Weddings
Ever since I can remember, I've had this unique gift of turning dreams into realities. Crafting honeymoons and destination weddings is my forte, and I cherish every moment I've had the privilege to do so. Let me share with you two stories that remain close to my heart.
I recall the Maldives, a surreal expanse of cerulean waters and luxury at every corner. A young groom-to-be, after hearing about the blissful experiences of his friend at Gili Lankanfushi (a recommendation of mine), approached me with sparkling eyes. He was keen to start his marital journey there. Knowing I had played a part in two friends beginning their new life chapters in such perfection fills me with pride.
But it hasn't always been smooth sailing. I remember the anxious calls from a couple planning a destination wedding in Maui. The Hawaiian fires had wreaked havoc on their chosen resort, with the wedding date just around the corner. Despair could have easily overshadowed their excitement.
Drawing from my extensive network and knowledge of the area, I immediately swung into action. I relocated the entire wedding party to another breathtaking resort on a part of Maui that remained untouched by the disaster. And in the midst of it all, I managed to transfer their hotel elite membership points, and even upgraded them to a luxurious honeymoon suite.
Having personally traveled to Hawaii multiple times, immersing myself in its rich culture and exquisite landscapes, I was well-equipped to ensure their Hawaiian wedding dream was not only rescued but enhanced.
From the pristine beaches of the Maldives to the captivating beauty of Maui, I've always strived to make every experience unforgettable. Whether it's a tranquil honeymoon or a magnificent wedding celebration, with me by your side, every journey is bound to be memorable.

Swiss Alps Dream Ski Trip

Selma planned my bucket list Swiss Alp/Zermatt ski trip this past Christmas. Normally, my husband and I are pretty hands-on with making travel plans, but having Selma on board made this experience so much easier, and fun! She was able to find out all the nuances over Christmas, including minimum night stays. She provided many options to stay within our budget and was very responsive throughout the entire process. Being over Christmas time, it was important for us to have lunch and dinner reservations, which was hard to given the language, barrier and time difference. Selma handled all of this- included in the very nominal fee.
I can’t imagine we will plan any future trips without her. Because of her help, responsiveness, ideas, this trip was even better than I could have imagined- she is the BEST!

Selma was wonderful to work with. Her recommendations were perfect, and we were able to see everything we wanted to see. She also took into account that we were traveling with our elementary aged children. Even going in off season (November), we still had an amazing time, and were blessed with beautiful weather. Greece is an amazing country, and I would definitely recommend Crete and Rhodes!

Fantastic! Selma is extremely responsive (like...within minutes, always! so helpful) and will go out of her way to make sure you have everything you need for your trip. We went to the Maldives in the middle of Covid for our honeymoon and she was essential to not only planning all parts of the trip (we went through numerous versions/options for this trip given the pandemic) but in choosing the best options for us once we arrived. She was able to get us an upgrade, negotiate included meals for us (saved us SO much money), and even got us some extra honeymoon perks (massages, champagne, activities) we definitely would not have gotten if we booked alone. As mentioned, we went through numerous versions of this trip in terms of plans and resorts within the Maldives - she was so flexible through it all and provided great insight. She is extremely well traveled herself and really understands the nuances of booking travel. Can't wait to book our next trip with her!!

Unexpected Emergency, Selma was amazing!

Selma has worked with us on three trips at this point and is always very helpful. This was supposed to be a bucket list ski trip to Courcheval France- and Selma found us an amazing hotel at a great price, helped with ski intructors, train tickets etc. Unfortunately, at the last minute, we had a death in the family and were unable to go. Selma contacted the hotel and was able to get our (sizeable) deposit back, cancel our other hotels and train tickets. At such a difficult time, it was so nice that she was able to take care of everything for us. She even sent us lovley messages and had a tree planted in my father in laws honor. She is amazing and goes above and beyond!

I was lucky to find Selma through a Facebook group I belong to. I reached out to her regarding a family trip to Greece in April. She was prompt, friendly and very attentive to our trip desires. We had a quick FaceTime call and she asked great questions on things we were looking for, must see, must do, etc. Within a few days of our initial conversation she had several itineraries for me to review. All were perfect for me and she helped figure out which one would be the best. She assisted in requesting room upgrades. She provided me with recommendations for restaurants in the destinations on our itinerary. Our tour guides, drivers, hotels were all top notch, first class.
