When I was only 6 years old I traveled by steam engine from Philadelphia to New York City and stayed at the Hotel Astor. The magic of that moment has never faded, and it's my passion to create those same kinds of experiences for each one of my clients.
While group travel can be one of the most exciting and fun-filled ways to see the world, all those moving parts require intricate and often complex itineraries. Far beyond the typical group travel planning that simply oversees flight arrangements and airport transfers, the group excursions I book are true full-service events designed to help create memories that you'll treasure for decades to come. I've escorted groups totaling more than 100 people, working hard to ensure those memories are the stuff of legend.
I have sailed on Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival, MSC Cruise and Royal Caribbean and that stayed at some of the best hotels and all inclusive resorts around. I have visited many countries including:

One benefit of my many years of experience is the connections I've made along the way. This network of in-the-know locals helps facilitate experiences that you would never find in the pages of a mass-produced guidebook. Part of being a hands-on travel agent is open availability, and I'm always there for my clients no matter what disaster may crop up. When Hurricane Sandy hit NY in 2012, it nearly spelled disaster for a group of my clients looking to travel to the Big Apple from the Eastern Caribbean. While self-booked travel or internet deals would've left them stranded and disappointed, I was able to reroute the entire group to Bermuda, setting up not just flights but also private tours and accommodations.

Working with Laurence for our Dubai trip was pure excellence! During our stay in Dubai, my mobile phone wasn't working correctly, I reached out to Laurence to confirm our flight and excursions - he took care of EVERYTHING from the other side while we were able to continue to enjoy our first experience in Dubai. Laurence and Annie,Just a quick note of appreciation to let you know how much I enjoyed Spring Fling!I know it took a lot of planning and hard work to make it happen. My favorite was Capetown. It was not what I expected, so clean and beautiful. I liked the hotel and their friendly staff. Excellent driver and guide. Their tips should be doubled. Robbens Island was a dream come true Dinner at GOLD is worth a return trip. Thank you!
The wineries were absolutely outstanding. As I was researching, I realized just how much South Africa is known for it’s wine. So glad a tour was offered.
Even though the tour of the township was heart wrenching we needed to see it. Table mountain, the safari and all the sightseeing was fascinating.
Please tell the next group about Willoughby & Co. restaurant in the wharf mall. Excellent food and the hotel shuttle drops you off at the entrance.. Friendly people. They even have Black African sushi chefs.

This was my second trip that Laurence has put together for me. Laurence is an effective communicator when it comes to your travel needs. Unlike most agents, once everything is set you will never heard from them again. This is not the case here. He will do follow-ups, have set reminders sent to you for check-in’s, etc. He evens goes to the point of sending quicks while travel. But what really put the icing on the cake is when I took sick during travel. He handled everything to include getting my flight cancel and talking with the travel protection team on your behalf. Many more trips will be planned thru Laurence. Thanks for all the hard and extra work you do!!!

A nice relaxing vacation!

Laurence is the absolute best! Goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience ever. And always adds a nice touch leaving gifts or messages for you when you arrive at your destination. I'll never book with anyone else!...Puerto Vallarta was nice. I thought the staff for the most part was exceptional. (Noeh especially made my day DAILY. He's the best! Santiago was also super accommodating as well. I never went without a beverage--he was refilling before I could ask) The entertainment staff was a lot of fun also . Engaging, but not pushy. The beach was too rocky and rough to enter, but the pool area was well kept and you couldn't beat the views. When we arrived, our room was definitely not up to standards (few large dead cockroaches...so they moved us to another room, which was worse, but again we had a nice rear view of the ocean and decided to make the best of it) The hotel rooms were somewhat dated and could use some upgrades, but we tried not to complain too much.

Superior Service with a Wonderful Resort

Laurence is absolutely the best. I met Laurence over a year ago while cruising on Royal Caribbean. While there, he explained to me the benefits of using a travel agent compared to doing it myself. I then promised to use him for my next trip. Then came 2018. I reached out to Laurence for recommendations to the Dominican Republic. He recommended the resort based upon my wants; he assisted with the booking including airfare, transfers, and excursions. Needless to say, I have a wonderful time and Laurence checked in from time to time to make sure all my needs were addressed. His customer service was superior and I cannot be more thankful. Breathless Punta Cana is great. And if you want to a break from the party, you can go next door to New Onxy and enjoy all their amenities. Punta Cana will be a must visit for me for years to come.

I have been using Laurence as my agent for about 5 years and he never ceases to amaze me. On my most recent trip to Mexico I found myself having to use the travel insurance that Laurence always recommends for every trip, and thank goodness for this one I listened. For reasons I care not to mention, I was forced to extend my trip by 4 days and had to put the travel documents to use. Once I contacted Laurence and told him about my situation, he made it his mission to make sure I got home safely. He not only called me every day to check on me, he also arranged conference calls with travelmate, my hotel, my airline and amstar to make sure everything was probably arranged for my safe return. I would have been lost without him and totally confused. I am sure my trip rate did not include Laurence as a personal concierge but he stepped in and treated me like his most VIP client. Laurence is a gem and a blessing to the travel agent industry.

This is not my first trip with Laurence and won't be the last. I recently experienced an Egypt trip with him and it was fabulous. Laurence was there every step of the way from beginning to end. My trip to Rome was great also. I enjoyed the personal service I received from Laurence. Being in a foreign country and the people were not very helpful or friendly Laurence made sure my accommodations were filled and he personally made sure I got to the airport safely. He worked very hard to please all to the best I felt he could. I have no doubt in recommending him to anyone for travels near or far. Hats off Laurence another trip well done. "Amazing Lifetime Experience"

Considering this was to be my first international trip - and, I had specific goals to attain for myself, LP turned out to have been an "excellent" choice. I did plenty reading to find a travel agent that was not only knowledgeable to my requests but personable and relatable as well. He met those characteristics. Be mindful however, LP can be direct in the beginning, and "that" is a major plus because he is willing to drop you on the spot if "you" do not meet his criteria. Thus, zero BS and zero time wasted for both sides.
There were a few concerning moments for me prior to my flight, particularly with attaining the visa required to enter Ghana. LP however stuck with me via email and text, as well as with his contacts for Ghana to get me the material I needed expeditiously because time "was a factor". While I was in Ghana LP frequently made contact with me to assure all was well. I was very pleased with this gentleman, professional and humorous guy - will request his service aga

Memorable and Epic Time

Laurence...we had a MARVELOUS time in Mexico!!! You did an excellent job coordinating everything for our group. I could not have been more pleased and i wanted to thank you again for all that you did. You connected the dots so adroitly for us, we all glided from one step to another. This was the best 60th birthday celebration that anybody could ask for. The resort "Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa " was absolutely perfect. The food was EXCELLENT and the drinks were PERFECT. Thanks so much. Your suggestion to charter the private Yacht from Riviera Elite was the best..... the crew was so professional and courteous and my goodness the food and drinks were totally outstanding on the Yacht. “Positively outstanding!” is how I would describe Mr. Laurence Pinckney. Laurence successfully planned a seven-day itinerary for three generations of women to Paris, France. My Mom really appreciated Laurence contacting us to confirm our transportation from the airport to the hotel ran smoothly within hours after we landed in Paris. While we were in Paris, he remained in contact to ensure we were having a wonderful time and continued to make suggestions about things to do and places to eat while we were there. Went on a trip of a lifetime to Italy and Greece. Spent 25 days traveling Italy by land and Greece by sea. From take off to our final landing Laurence was there if we needed anything. He truly thought of every detail. When our bags were delayed coming from Greece to Italy, he went above and beyond to provide any assistance that would be helpful to us in our time of need and ensure our trip remained enjoyable. Laurence is phenomenal travel agent!!!My wife and I own a construction company. We have two very active teenage daughters in high school. Between, work, high school extracurricular activities and academics, planning and going on a family vacation did not seem like an option for our family. Thank you for putting together a fabulous trip. Dubai was a sight to behold with seemingly award winning architecture. Cape Town was beautiful with those gorgeous mountains. Our pictures, although beautiful did not capture what we witnessed. Also you must make sure to tell your clients to go to Camps Bay every time they visit Cape Town.
You and your team in both countries were fabulous. They all were very professional, especially since they’re dealing with so many different personalities, needs and wants. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Seamless travel

So for about a week I had been bursting my head trying to arrange

When the Going Gets Tough, Laurence Gets Going!

Yes. Yes. Yes!Out of the gate, Laurence was very attune to what we were looking for in a beach vacation. We were impressed by how meticulous Laurence was. We were also pleasantly surprised with how quickly he responded to any email we wrote to him, regardless of the time of day. By our departure date, we felt completely ready to go, and we were thrilled with Laurence's help.
Laurence continued to go above and beyond for us while we were away. When we both got sick, he was on the phone with us while we were still at our resort giving us clear direction on how to navigate through the situation. When we returned home early filed a trip insurance claim with our credit card company (which required more paperwork than we could have guessed), Laurence came through within the day with every item we needed.
Laurence is a class act. We hope to work with him in the future, and we highly recommend him for anyone looking for a travel agent.

From our first conversation to the last Laurence was amazing. I told him what I was looking for in a hotel and amenities and he went to work. He came back with 3 and we narrowed it down to 1 and it was the best place i could have picked. Even when people cancelled on the trip Laurence stay in contact with me and the hotel and made sure I wouldn't be stuck with paying for something that was beyond my control. He was wonderful and the trip was wonderful. This was my second trip where Laurence was involved. This was the fjrst one I was coordinating and he was a ray of hope. We always wanted to go to Paris,France & Lawrence made it memorable. I was impressed with Lawrence from the first communication. He was always so helpful & thoughtful! My Wife is the one that handle all the communication with Lawrence but I was right there every time. My Wife would ask him all the questions I had. What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He gave us information we didn't know we needed. He always updated us promptly regarding our travel plans & answered all questions. As far as our trip, I was overly pleased with the hotel & area he booked us in. It was such a cute & homey Paresian neighborhood. I really felt like we lived there & now call Cadet "Our Neighborhood". We weren't surrounded by a bunch of hotels in some tourist area( at least it didn't look or feel that way). I felt like we got a taste of how Paresians live. Because of this & the recent event in Paris, I feel so close to the people we just lived amongst. I fondly call Lawrence "Our Travel Agent" & have already recommend him. I can't wait to let him plan our next trip!...Oh I also love how he is trying to get us back out there by suggesting trip deals that come up to us according to our intrests. I love it!

After Hurricane Joaquin changed our father/son criuse plans, Lawrence stayed with Royal Carribbean for hours till an alternative trip could be booked. My son, 25y/o, commented " you have a great travel agent. He was so helpful". My son is not easily impressed.Lawrence's attention ro detail, coordinaton, and comfort was fantastic.

Laurence has been a GREAT friend to my girlfriends and family when we need to plan a trip. We have been to Belize and St. Maarten under his guidance so when I wanted to plan my 40th birthday trip, there was only one call to make. From the beginning, Laurence was really understanding of our financial constraints but also of our desire to make this trip absolutely AMAZING!
When I said I wanted to come to New York City and stay in Harlem, he went right into action. He recommended this place for my birthday dinner that not only had AMAZING food, the service and treatment we received was superb. We wanted to enjoy the experience, have a few adult beverages and not spend the entire night with a designated driver having to follow the motorized voice of the GPS and not enjoy the antics so he recommended a great limousine company that REALLY delivered a fabulous experience. Together, with the owner of the limo company, they figured out a few GREAT places for us to take pictures of our trip and have memories we can treasure for a lifetime.

We chose Laurence to organize our 40th Birthday Cruise. There were four hosts and Laurence's attention to detail and enthusiasm about us having the time of our lives was exceptional. For over a year, we felt at ease because Laurence stayed on top of things (and on us) to make sure we had the perfect vacation. And, we sure did.
He was able to attend to all of the needs of our very large group with professionalism, skill and a great attitude. He coordinated not only all of our arrangements, but set up special activities and events on and off of the ship for us. We literally just had to pay our money, show up and have a great time thanks to Laurence's expert travel planning.
I will use him again and again! I highly recommend him without reservation.

He gave us JUST the vacation we wanted

It was time for my big birthday trip (before I turned 41, I wanted to send 40 out in style). I knew I needed rest and relaxation and I wanted it to be in the most beautiful place and Laurence knew how to deliver. Although I'm a decent planner because I do it for a living, I wanted someone who would deal with all of the details. We identified our location and preferred type of travel experience, and that was all we had to do. For once, I wasn't responsible for making sure every I was dotted or t was crossed. From making sure we got our deposits in on time, to arranging our transportation from the airport to our Villa, all of this was covered. He called and emailed me as the trip approached to keep me on track so that we wouldn't have less than a stellar experience.
When we arrived in Costa Rica, our driver was ready and took us on a tour of the country en route to our final destination. Laurence called to make sure we had arrived safely and confirmed with our concierge that we had everything we needed. This type of service is not easy to find and it's hard to forget. From this point on we will make sure that we use Zen Biz travel on our annual trips.

First off I wanna say that we didn't just get away, we were on vaction! We started off looking on our own, but it became tedious. So we reached out to Laurence who was on it! Providing us with with plenty of options that would accommodate us and facilitate our vacation. He said that he would put us anywhere he hasn't been or have had clients stay. We spent a night in Miami and we were both in the same hotel. Gr8 location and price. My parents have booked with him and I have had the opportunity to meet him once before on a family getaway in NYC; However this was my first time booking my vacation with Laurence but definitely will not be the last. Laurence was very helpful right out the gate and remained by our side via our app the entire time we were on vacation. It was nice to have someone we could ask direct questions too and get an immediate response. The hotel Laurence suggested was even more amazing then the pictures we saw online. I gave him my wish list and he found the most amazing property to carry out my desires. I could not have had a better time. I am so happy I decided to use Laurence for my 40th birthday trip. This was the first trip my daughter and I took along. We both have always wanted to go to Africa. I knew nothing what to do! I totally relied on Laurence for everything. He took my hand step by step through the whole process. There were times when I felt very overwhelmed but Laurence was always there to calmly talk me through every step. Laurence arranged for me to take a one-week cruise of several cities in Brazil. I purchased airline tickets based upon the dates the cruise stared and ended. When the cruise line decided to extend the cruise beyond a week, preventing me from taking it, I assumed my vacation in Brazil was ruined. But after helping me get a refund from the cruise line, Laurence arranged a land trip in Brazil that topped the cruise. He used his contacts in Brazil to arranged for the best tours, dance performances and street festivals I have ever attended. I not only had fun in Brazil, I learned a lot about its history. I am so glad I couldn't make the cruise - the land trip Laurence arranged was ten times better.

Inaugural Cruise to Cuba for my parents
