Hello there! My name is Jennifer Holcomb. My motivation for becoming a travel advisor is simple: I have a passion for food and travel, and I want to help clients explore the beauty of the world. I believe that travel is an incredible way to learn about different cultures, try new things, and create unforgettable memories. As a travel advisor, I get to help people experience all of that and more. I specialize in several types of travel, including Ocean and River Cruises, Escorted Tours, and Independent Travel. I am an expert in several destinations, including Egypt, Greece, Italy, Mexico, and Caribbean. Each of these destinations offers something special and unique, whether it's the history and culture of Egypt, the stunning scenery of Greece, the delicious food and wine of Italy, or the beautiful beaches of Mexico and the Caribbean. I have personally traveled to each of these destinations, and I love sharing my knowledge and expertise with clients.

I 100% recommend Joy By Journey for all of your travel needs! Jennifer was extremely helpful in making suggestions and was attentive to details, even down to having a surprise for the kids waiting in our room when we arrived at our destination. We ended up having to make some alternate last minute travel adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances and Jennifer handled everything for us! She truly saved our vacation! We will be using Joy By Journey for all of our future adventures.

We are so grateful that Jenny helped us plan our 20th anniversary trip to Greece. It was a trip of a lifetime! She was super knowledgeable on all aspects of the trip. Her recommendations on our tours were perfect! We enjoyed beautiful boat cruises, delicious wine tastings, and even learned how to cook Greek food! In addition, she kept us up to date on all the COVID travel restrictions and let us know when there were any changes in our schedule as we were travelling. Everything went smoothly and we highly recommend Joy By Journey for your next trip!

Jennifer, owner of Joy by Journey is an incredible planner on your behalf. After a chat about what may interest you from places to see, how much relaxation time and how much exploring time you wish, she works her magic! Jennie organized our first cruise to crystal blue waters with beach relaxation at a private beach that included a massage, food, and drinks and on another day a visit with a knowledgeable tour guide to Mayan ruins. She found discounts that saved us money. We will absolutely use Jennifer again and happily refer her to others.

My wife and I, out of the blue, wanted to take a trip to Egypt. We found Jennifer at Joy by Journey online and asked her to plan it. She was amazing. She planned the perfect trip. We’ve never flown out of the country before and she helped us out with everything. She answered all our newbie questions and kept in touch with us while we were abroad. The tour guide that her company hired was fantastic. He is an Egyptologist and he was adept at and more than happy to talk about the history of his country. We are planning a trip to Machu Picchu next year and will definitely use Jennifer again. We could not be happier with the service she provided.

Jennifer with Joy by Journey has booked all of our vacations since she launched her business. We have taken several cruises and gone to Vegas, New York, Italy, and most recently, Greece. 50th Anniversary Dream Trip to Greece

What a fantastic trip this was. Jennifer did a great job. The good: Accommodations were top notch. We could have stayed in the Mill House in Santorini forever. The Devani Palace was a wonderful and convenient place. Sofitel was perfect for the airport, very up scale. Transportation was great in Santorini. Excursions were very informative. The Acropolis and Museum were the highlight. I couldn’t get enough Greek food, gained 5 pounds.The not so good: The arranged transportation in Athens was not very good. On arrival day I called in to switch our arrival time, no driver was there. We were picked up to leave for Santorini and a cab was our transportation. We were dropped off at the departure terminal at the wrong end of the building. Rather than paying for arranged drivers I might as well have just taken a taxi.
I will end this by saying it was a fantastic trip. We were very happy and really loved it. It was everything that made our 50th anniversary very special.

Our cruise was absolutely perfect! Service was top notch! Joy by journey (Jennie) made the booking easier than I could ever have asked for. We will definitely use her again! Michael was our room attendant and he couldn’t of done a better job making us feel at home. My granddaughter absolutely loved all of the animals he made. The food was also fantastic and so were the drinks.

If we are not able to find an excursion with our cruise company, she finds us great excursions thru a third party. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time on our trip to Greece planned by Joy by Journey. We traveled to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. It was truly a trip of a lifetime that we will cherish forever! Throughout the entire planning process, Jennie was super responsive, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. I can honestly say that our honeymoon was the best part of our wedding experience!We booked our honeymoon months in advance so she was able to get us amazing deals as far as pricing goes. We changed our minds many times on what exactly we wanted to do and asked a TON of questions. Through all the many questions and changing of plans, Jennie was extremely patient and always pleasant. We loved working with Joy by Journey so much that we are actually currently working on our anniversary trip to Aruba with her!

I tell everyone that I know that is wanting to go on a trip, to contact Jennifer! She will do all of the hard work for you, from finding a place to stay, getting a rental car, booking things to do while on vacation, etc .. She will send you pictures and prices of everything and will do everything she can to find you exactly what you want in the price range you want .. All you have to do is go and everything is taken care of when you get there! She saved me a good bit of money too that I would have had to spend if I had booked everything myself .. You will not be disappointed !!!

My son and I travelled to Florence, Porto Ercole, Rome, and Venice with a road trip through Tuscany. It was such a great trip! Jennifer is super knowledgable about traveling in general and about Italy specifically. She found Porto Ercole for us when we wanted to visit the coast but did not have the time for Amalfi. It was perfect: a beautiful, quiet seaside town where we were able to slow down a bit after Florence and before Rome. The hotels that Jennifer chose for us were really nice. All of them within walking distance to major attractions. All of them provided great customer service and a beautiful breakfast to get the day started. Jennifer's food recommendations hit the spot! My son had already devoured a Florentine steak on his own (he arrived in Florence days before me) but happily shared another one with me when I arrived. And she is right about the wine ;)The point is though, that an email or text to Jennifer while traveling was always answered and supportive.
