Shannon’s help in planning our trip to Italy was invaluable. We had never travelled abroad, so her assistance in selecting not only the places to visit, but general advice regarding travel logistics (ordering/taking Euros, time to allow for layovers, electrical adaptors to purchase, etc) was especially helpful. Shannon was outstanding! Not only did she help us plan and book an amazing trip, she stood by us throughout cancelled flights, baggage delays and travel insurance claims. She had our backs throughout the entire process and provided us excellent "air traffic control" while we were en route and trying to navigate flight cancellations and rerouting (thanks to an Air France strike that started the day we flew). She even helped us in tackling the insurance claim process, which, no surprise, is not a lot of fun.

We had the best time discovering Paris on the trip Shannon created for us. Not only did she select the perfect hotel, in the perfect location, she organized small tours to Versailles and the Louvre. Oh man... Shannon is incredible. My wife and I had never really planned a large trip let alone one where we left the country. Shannon worked with us to ensure we had our passports and paperwork ready from beginning to end.

While we expected the locations and events to be a top tier service, Shannon coordinated with everyone to add little details like having a private guide and ensuring everyone knew this was our honeymoon trip. This led to constant congratulations of our honeymoon, spa time, and a private dinner on the beach with a bottle of wine. Beyond that, our room was decorated with rose petals and a million other details to make this trip special and tied to our honeymoon.

We were completely unfamiliar with Japan and she asked great suggestions and provided great counsel on what we could expect at the time of year we were visiting, what costs could look like and how to balance our desire not to be over scheduled. We felt very confident and prepared before departure and while we were there everything was absolutely seamless. The local travel agents commented that our recommendations and excursions were very smart (apparently many tourists don’t take the trip to Kamakura that was recommended for us but locals highly recommend it - as do we now!).
