My name is Nicole Rodway and I have been a Travel Advisor with Magic Vacations since 2019. I believe that a vacation is an opportunity to make incredible memories and bond with family and friends.
I especially enjoy planning travel for families to destinations such as Walt Disney World and Universal. Cruises and all inclusive vacations are other popular family vacation options with my clients. As a mother of three, I understand that traveling with children can be incredibly fun and rewarding, but also very challenging. I pride myself on working with families to make sure that both kids and parents are prepared for what travel will entail. Some of my family's favorite vacations have been trips to Disney World and Universal. However, if you ask my children, they will tell you that their favorite way to vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise ship!
My husband has been in the military for more than 20 years. I understand both the challenges and rewards of being in a military family. Planning travel for military families holds a special place in my heart and I am especially honored to help plan pre and post deployment vacations. I am happy to work with suppliers like Disney, Universal and cruise lines to secure military pricing and benefits for clients.
I was a classroom teacher for more than 15 years. During that time, I worked with children who had a variety of special needs. I understand the difficulties that families may face when traveling with a family member who has special needs. It is my pleasure to help these families to plan a vacation that address the needs of every member of the family.
I also enjoy working with couples to plan relaxing and rejuvenating trips with just the right amount of romance. I find it especially rewarding to help a couple plan their honeymoon or an anniversary celebration. My husband and I have been lucky enough to celebrate some of these milestones at Disney World. We've also spent time in Bermuda and the Caribbean as well as various U.S. destinations as a couple.
I have experience working with small groups to plan a variety of travel experiences. From European river cruises to getaways in the Caribbean, if a group of friends is looking to travel together, I am happy to assist in planning a trip that they'll remember for a life time.

Ireland Trip!

Nicole was everything I could have asked for when planning a trip. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, responsive; all without being overbearing. She was perfect.Nicole saved us money for sure, but more importantly she saved us time and frustration. She put together suggestions on what to do and where to go, all within the guidelines we had set for our trip.
We even had a small logistical issue with our rental service while in Ireland and Nicole responded and dealt with it almost immediately despite the 5 hour time difference. Having that peace of mind when traveling abroad is really valuable. Can't recommend her enough.

Epic Road Trip

We were planing an eastern boarder road trip to Universal Florida and the reservations were a little overwhelming, even more so since we are still in the waves of the pandemic. Nicole took our hotel choices in several different states and what we wanted while at Universal and worked her magic. Nicole went above and beyond to take care of all reservations, ticket purchasing and letting us know any and all covid protocols and regulations in each state we were staying in.
In a world were online purchasing can be risky, we didn't want to take any chances of fraud or incorrectly choosing packages that we needed, Nicole knew exactly what we needed, knew how to get us the best deals and had the advantage of knowing all the cool secrets that you can't find online in a generic booking.
We were able to prepare for our trip with out any headaches, worries or uncertainties! Thanks to Nicole she did all the busy work, we just had to show up and enjoy our vacation.

Disney Birthday

From the first phone call to last minute info and help, Nicole was there every step of the way, making two folks who had never planned their own travel adventure feel safe and comfortable about heading out on a 40th anniversary adventure together !! We needed to change our trip plans multiple times due to wildfires in the areas we wanted to visit, and she rolled easily with every obstacle and remained friendly and professional in the way she dealt with everything. She found substitutes and offered options that hit all our markers! We ended up loving every moment of our amazing trip. What a dream she was to work with. I had never used a travel agent before and she was more than a person could ask for. She was informative and attentive. Magical Holiday Vacation

We went on a quick trip to check out the holiday celebrations at both Disney and Universal. Nicole was instrumental in helping us to make some last minute changes that allowed us to add a day Epcot to the Disney portion of our trip. She also helped us to get tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and provided us with tips to make the most of our time at the special event. Nicole gave us plenty of choices to look at for our vacation and the one we picked was so good! She was always timely in her responses as we were preparing to leave on vacation but especially on our trip home as we were scheduled to fly back into a Nor'easter. She worked with us and set up a back up plan in case our flight back to Boston was cancelled. She monitored our return flight (connection in Miami from St. Lucia) and provided updates.

This was our first trip to Disney since our own children were small and the changes were overwhelming.

Nicole was a great trip planner to work with. This was why we went with her a second time after our great first experience, and why we will be using her for our next trip as well. She has a great grasp on the ins and outs/ups and downs of what we were planning to do. When some last minute changes outside of our control interfered with the trip (twice!) she was able to quickly help make adjustments so that we didn't have to worry about anything. She even helped us with some valuable information that helped us have a smooth experience on the trip, despite having to deal with the impact of health difficulties on navigating the parks.

The Best Disney Vacation Ever!

We have been to Disney before, but not as since before COVID and not as a family of 5 (which presented new logistical challenges). Nicole was instrumental in helping us to find accommodations that would be comfortable for us all, planning our dining and educating us in the ways of Genie+. When it comes to booking dining, we were completely blown away. Nicole secured our top picks like Space 220, Topolino's and Cinderella's Royal Table! Before we left on our trip Nicole sent us a guide to making the most of our Disney vacation which was awesome because so much has changed. Whenever we needed Nicole during our trip, she responded right away! She's fabulous! We are already talking about Universal for next year!

Cap Cod trip!

I was so impressed by how quickly she provided us with so many housing option in the Cap Cod area! From there we were able to make a choice and found a wonderful hotel. Nicole was so helpful in planning this trip. It had to be delayed and rescheduled multiple times over the past two years due to the pandemic. Nicole helped with working through the impact this had each time with a laugh and a smile. She worked with me to get a great insight into what I wanted to do on my trip and had great insight into trying to plan. She helped it work out great even though things outside our control were unpredictable right up until the end (i.e., the start of Genie+ a few days before). Nicole also did a lot of work in presenting as much information as she could, providing a personalized packet for my entire trip. I really appreciate all of the help she offered and can't wait to plan again.

Disney or Bust!

Nicole was helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely accessible in all stages of the vacation planning and vacation process. We wanted to go to Disney in April, but we unable to do so with all of the restrictions put into place for Covid-19 at the time ( the safety precautions at WDW were fine, but our places of work had other restrictions). She was able to help us change our trip to June so our children could experience the magic of Disney prior to returning to school. Nicole helped us review all of our options for parks and planned out an itinerary that jet our wants, needs, and used her expert knowledge of the parks. Since meeting characters was one of our favorite parts of the Disney experience, Nicole booked us reservations for two character meals that even took into account the very picky eater that would be with us. Nicole was available to answer questions about Magic Bands, food delivery, and other trivial things even after we got to our resort! It was a magical vacation!

We had the best trip!

Working with Nicole was so easy! We never had to wait or worry if she was going to get back to us and she always understood our questions and answered them well. Her advice was always given in the best way for us to receive it - when we needed it most! I have traveled lots in the past, both through my own booking and with another agent, and this was the first time I did not have to worry if I (or my agent) did everything correctly with all the moving pieces. I enjoyed my vacation with complete confidence that Nicole had setup everything perfectly (despite having to rebook so many times due to COVID)! We definitely look forward to the next trip knowing Nicole will be helping us.

Nicole was extremely helpful in every aspect of the planning process and even when we were there. (she looked up possible spas because my daughter's back was seizing up in case we needed to get her a massage) She streamlined everything and went out of her way to answer questions in a timely fashion. She was pretty much always available. I can't say enough about her!
