I grew up with a deep love of travel. When one trip comes to the end, I am thinking about where I would like to travel next.
I have been planning travel for friends and family for over 19 years. In 2014 I decided I wanted to do this on a professional level so I joined my current host agency, Tons of Fun Travel. I have since completed the course and became a CTA though the Travel Institute. Some of the places I have been to are Turks and Caicos, Aruba, Cuba, Grenada, Saint Maarten, St. Lucia, Great Exumas, Bahamas, Cancun, Dominican Republic, Puerto Vallarta, Jamaica, Mexico City, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Tortola, St. Thomas, St. John, Antigua, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, California, South Carolina (Myrtle Beach), Las Vegas, Georgia (Savannah),Florida (Tampa, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, St. Pete, Orlando, Key West, Marco Island, Daytona, Sarasota), Arizona (Grand Canyon).
I am a Certified Sandals Specialist, Palace Pro Specialists, Hawaii Destination Specialist, Jamaica Specialist, Aruba Certified Expert, Master Agent with AM Resorts, completed basic certification for Romance Travel through DWHSA, Commodore Status with Princess Cruise Line, Sandals WeddingMoons Destination Specialists, Sandals Gold Status along with several other certifications. I am continually taking courses and attending training seminars to extend my knowledge and keep up to date on destinations.
Because of the experience I have gained from my own travels along with the training that I have taken and continue to take, I feel I would be a great benefit in assisting my clients to plan a remarkable vacation. When planning trips for my clients, I use the same attention to detail as I would if I was planning the trip for myself.

Julie Kimmel was fantastic to work with before, during, and after our trip. She has excellent knowledge on the differences and similarities of each destination, which really helped us find the best fit. She sent us a fun and helpful care package before we left that helped make things easier during a chaotic time. When our flight got cancelled, she was all over it and we ended up only losing about two hours--lifesaver!! During and after the trip, she was very easy to reach for the many "little things" that came up. Julie made our honeymoon a breeze and the trip of a lifetime, and we 110% recommend her to anybody!

Julie does a fantastic job from start to finish. From the initial planning until returning back home, we trust that Julie has perfected every last detail. She is a frequent traveler herself and puts the same care into planning trips for her clients that she does for herself. We were delayed late in the evening causing us to arrive later than planned. Julie was awesome to work with. I had traveled before, but I had never booked anything myself. I didn't know where to start or what to look at. My friend had mentioned Julie and how great she was, so I didn't hesitate and I emailed her right away. Julie was very responsive with all my emails and answered all of our questions. I really didn't know where to start and she had given me ideas and examples and from there it was much easier to pick where we decided to go. Honeymoon Trip!

Julie was very quick and responsive to all of my emails and making all the necessary changes after our trip needed delayed with COVID pandemic! I didn’t need to worry about a thing. She made sure she told us how to save money on flights and got us the Club Mobay departure lounge where we could eat and drink for free when waiting for our flight to board before going back to the States. With the stress of the wedding, I was so glad Julie could help us make sure I didn’t have to worry about planning this trip! Very knowledgeable about the area and all current COVID guidelines for travel as well!

Julie Kimmel made us excited about our trip from the first draft of an itinerary to the final signing of papers. She takes into consideration all of our key places we want to visit as well as things we like to have in our hotels and makes it happen. She provides attention to detail, confirms all tickets, transfers, and accommodations a second time before we left the country and organizes all needed papers in a carry on folder for easy access if needed at immigration. Julie has been fantastic to work with! I initially reached out to her because finding a destination spot was overwhelming. Also, never being out of the country before I was a little nervous and trusted her. I told her what I was looking for with my budget and she quickly sent me resorts that I was looking for. She was very quick to respond to my thousands of questions and great at putting me at ease. Julie also made sure we arrived safely and in a timely manner. We sought out Julie as a travel agent after hearing so many great things from our friends and family who have utilized her in the past. Julie originally booked my husband and I’s honeymoon to the Sandals resort in Grenada; however, due to COVID, we were unable to take that trip. If it weren’t for Julie, we would have had no idea how to navigate getting our money back, rescheduling, etc.. Julie made the process so easy for us. Then, when we were able to, Julie booked us a trip to the BEAUTIFUL Punta Cana with another couple who didn’t get to go on their honeymoon. She prepared us with everything we needed to navigate traveling during a pandemic. The process was seamless and she was available our entire trip to help us or answer any questions we had. Julie made the process of booking our honeymoon extremely easy. We had limited options of places to go because of COVID-19 but Julie was able to recommend some of the places that she sent other couples during the pandemic. Stress free trip to Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay! Julie was wonderful! Before we left she gave us all of our details needed for the trip and answered all of our questions! It was an extreme pleasure to work with Julie Kimmel as we planned our trip to Alaska. Having never been there and only hearing of things to do and see, she was able to provide us with several suggestions of ideas and things to think about as we planned. We did a Cruisetour thru Royal Caribbean and were very pleased. She took care of all the reservations for the entire vacation. Julie provided us with a folder that detailed our complete trip containing all flights, hotels, cruise, transfers from cruise for the land tour, train transfers, etc. It was in complete order and professionally done. 30 Year Anniversary Once In A Lifetime Trip

Julie done a fabulous job with correspondence and keeping us updated about any changes from the time we booked the trip and up until the day we left.She had all the excursion reservations made with printed details and maps for each outing, which took the stress off me to make sure I printed everything.
She done our early 24 hour check in so it was great having our boarding passes ahead of time.
Would not do a trip of this measure without her help! She also had great suggestions of where to stay and what to see. Couldn't have been so organized with her.

We have had a pleasure working with Julie in helping to plan not only a vacation to South America, but then our DESTINATION WEDDING in St. Lucia! During the semi-post-pandemic world, we decided to bring 60 guests to Sandals in St. Lucia for our wedding-- and wow, Julie was an amazing help! She helped me get a group rate contract at Sandals, she coordinated all guest hotel rooms, bus transfers and airfare, and even kept us updated on the latest COVID policies. She crafted this awesome website for the groom and I to view when our guests had booked, their arrival dates, room categories, etc. -- this was so helpful in planning. She coordinated private transfers for us, all pre-travel reminders and she surprised us with a candle dinner and massage while at the resort. Julie was able to help our whole party have a seamless experience in traveling to St. Lucia so that we were able enjoy the resort and wedding! I will 100% use Julie again in planning our big vacations and highly recommend!

Everything with booking went well with Julie. Our stay in Jamaica was what expected and she was helpful in determining shortest flight times. She also was great with navigating covid requirements. The only con was that I felt like a bother whenever I was asking questions, clarifications etc. I wanted to book excursions before we got there but she told us that it couldn’t be done. However, when I talked to the sandals rep she stated that I could book whenever I wanted. I just really didn’t like feeling like I was wasting her time.

Julie is amazing! Our original flight was cancelled and we were told by the airline we would not be able to fly out until the next evening with an 8 hour layover, causing us to miss 2 days of our vacation. I contacted Julie at 5am on a Saturday for help and she immediately starting working on alternative options for us! Julie secured us a direct flight that very same day. We are so grateful and highly recommend her to all!

I will never be able to thank Julie enough for what she did for us. She planned the best 30th year anniversary vacation that was possible. It was the best vacation that we’ve had in our 30 years. I would strongly Recommend Julie Kimmel as a travel agent. Normally I’m a very independent traveler and I like to plan our family trips myself. This year, during the week of Christmas,we wanted to go to Hard Rock Riviera Maya in Mexico. However, the price was so expensive when I tried to book it myself,that we just about gave up going. I thought I would see if I could get a better price if I went through a travel agent. I was shocked! The savings was almost 50% compared to what I had priced doing it myself. I was still able to be involved and get the flights and the times that I wanted but Julie Kimmel took care of all of the details for us. She asked a lot of good questions about things we wanted to see and do and what we liked. We did some sidetrips to Chichen Itza and a scuba dive Our trip was wonderful thanks to her!! We loved the Hard Rock Hotel and so did our two teenagers. There were plenty of activities to keep them busy!

Julie done a fabulous job at making our vacation run as smoothly as possible. All our reservations were made and she had all the documentation, including directions and maps from our hotel to our excursion, in the packet.When booking a vacation of this length, traveling that far (Hawaii) and wanting to see so much in a short period of time I would have Julie do all your planning.

My husband and I were planning on taking a late honeymoon, I had been looking up places to go and was so overwhelmed and decided to not take one because I didn’t even know where to start. Julie did an amazing job, she made sure that we had everything we needed during the planning process as well as before heading out to our honeymoon! She was very responsive, always giving us many options to choose from within our budget. She made it very easy to book the vacation, only meeting with her in person one time, which worked out great! She was willing to do whatever we asked her and was quick to get back with us. The Chic resort we stayed at was clean, friendly, and absolutely breathtaking.
