I’m originally from Bristol, England. My father was transferred to Lockheed and so my family and I moved to Marietta, Ga. My family and I flew across the big pond often visiting our relatives left behind and this is how the travel bug bit me at an early age!
I decided to pursue my passion for travel and in 1979 received my degree from Southeastern Travel Academy in Kissimmee, Florida and have not looked back.
I began my career working for a Latin America tour wholesaler, and then worked my way up to manager of a retail travel agency for 20 years.
I became a certified travel counselor and earned several certificates and awards from various suppliers and hoteliers. Have taken many familiarization trips throughout the years inspecting resorts, and experiencing the many wonderful destinations. I’ve travelled extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Europe, Central, South and North America. My favorite places are Italy and St. Barthelemy.
In 1995, I came to a crossroad in my life and opened Travel Escapes, Inc.
Travel Escapes has grown over the years in part to our great staff. We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for our many repeat clients and referrals throughout the years and appreciate each and everyone one.

I've used the services of many travel agencies over the last 50 years. After discovering Tracey and her Team I've used Travel Escapes "exclusively" for 12 years. Tracey is by far the most knowledgeable, professional, readily available, caring professional (probably) in the travel agency business. Tracey books business travel for me on nearly a weekly basis. She takes the time searching for the best airline routes, with the best connections, at the lowest fares, keeping travel costs to the lowest level possible for my company. During the rare occasions when I need assistance changing flights while on the road Tracey and her team are always available. If needed I've called Tracey at home or on the weekends and she is "there for me". I have also booked several cruises with Tracey and she is the "Cruise Expert". Bottom line: Tracey truly cares about her customers and always willing to give her time (during and after business hours) and her expertise for the best "Travel Value". In fact Tracey has commended on several occasions "she loves her job"! I heard about Tracey through a coworker of mine! I explained that we’ve never used a travel agent before and don’t know how this all works, she kindly walked me through the process and everything I needed to do on our end. Passports, paperwork, availability, etc. She made this experience so simple but yet, so easy! I went to her and told her the environment we were looking for and our budget and she came out on top! Tracey has great customer service and went above and beyond to make sure everything was locked in and just what we were looking for. Our first trip out of the country went so smooth and we got to enjoy our dreamy resort all thanks to her! We are already looking into booking our next trip through her. We are so excited and looking forward to booking many more trips through her with how great she was to work with!

Tracey and I have worked together since 1995. So at my age if my math or mind are still functioning well I am guessing that is 20 years of great service and a pleasure to do business with.( The Nuns would flunk me. Never end a sentence with a preposition ). Regardless of my sometimes crazy travel plans or what I thought impossible solutions Tracey has delivered with a smile and a positive, professional and pleasant approach. She has helped me many times. I remember one in particular when she was able to get me on a flight out of Chicago Midway just before a major snow storm. I was actually at a nearby hotel with stranded travelers when she told me to get to Midway for the last flight out. I could go on but Tracey asked for only 2 minutes of my time and at the speed I type I have more than exceeded my time limit. I have used Tracy for about four different trips over the last couple years and I dont have one bad thing to say about her. She has always been prompt with any communication which is a big deal to me. She is knowledgeable and seems to care that we actually get the most out of our trip. When my daughter's friends wanted to plan a Senior trip I had my concerns. Tracey made it easy for each of the students and parents to make payments and prepare for the trip. Travel Escapes even took the time and schedule a pre-trip meeting with everyone to go over what to expect and safety when travel outside the US. The location she recommended was PERFECT!! Tracey is the BEST!!

Tracey has not only been an outstanding travel agent but now we consider her a family friend. We have used Travel Escapes and more specifically Tracey since 1999. Tracey first planned my daughters Sr. trip to Cancun and has since planned family and group trips (up to 100 people) for us. She is in the process of planning yet another group all inclusive for us next year and in August planned an unforgettable 10 year anniversary trip for my daughter and son in law. Tracey is very knowledgeable on best places to go all over the world. She handled my husbands business travels & our family vacations. The latest trip was to Dominican Republic with a group of 23. Tracey is the absolute best. She has effortlessly scheduled three vacations for me including one for my church for 100 people! It is very comforting to know that your travel and transportation are taken care of. She is always patient, kind, and extremely helpful. She responds to emails in a timely matter. In this Internet age, anyone can book a cruise but if you are cautious with your travel money and your precious vacation days it is a real comfort to consult with a professional.
