I firmly believe that travel is an experience that everyone deserves — and I love being the agent who can support my clients in whatever way they need.
As a parent of children with autism, I thought the doors to travel had closed for our family. But when my oldest son asked me to go on a trip to New York City to see the Empire State Building, I knew I had to find a way to get out and explore the world in a way that felt right for him.
Today, I am a certified autism travel professional, and the training I have completed allows me to provide my travelers with the support and guidance they need as they navigate travel experiences with individuals on the autism spectrum. Whether that means finding sensory-friendly spaces for my families to relax and unwind in, or choosing autism-supportive destinations, I can customize the experience for my travelers so that they can create the memories that all families want to make together.
Two of my favorite destinations to book include:
- Japan — Having lived in Japan for many years, I am able to create itineraries from the perspective of a local. I recently crafted a 45-day itinerary for clients who wanted to go on the trip of a lifetime. We opted for historical destinations and arranged for private transportation so that they could learn about the cultures and traditions of Japan from a local guide.
- Hawai'i — Having also spent time living in Hawai'i, I am able to design one-of-a-kind itineraries that other travel agents cannot. I specialize in providing my clients with immersive, cultural experiences that allow them to enjoy an authentic trip to paradise.

Fantastic Trip

Planning a vacation can already be stressful, however when you have a special needs person that needs to be considered in all aspects of that trip, that adds more stress, time and research etc. there are special accommodations that we require. With a summer birthday, it doesn’t align well with football season...so I was stocked when my wife gave me a fall trip to New Orleans to see a Saints game and take in the big easy.
