I have quite a few specialties because I have spent extended amounts of time in several corners of the world. I grew up in New England and have been to just about every interesting stop between Maine and Virginia. You can see the first place the sun rises in the United States, or stay in magical historic hotels with huge old porches. There are still many places to step back in time. 

My knowledge of the United States is extensive. One week after I graduated from college, I started a job giving tours of America's cities and national parks. We did everything from hiking the Grand Canyon to hearing great bands in New Orleans. That job lead me to tour guiding, concierge work, and being a park ranger in national parks like Denali, Muir Woods, and Glacier Park. Near Glacier is one of my favorite places in the world- Yellowstone/Grand Teton area. It was rated the best place in the world to see wildlife. There are so many places where you are supposed to see wildlife, but you don't. This place is the best!  

Later in life, I would work a few jobs in the summer so I could spend the winter traveling in exceptionally undisappointing places like Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Peru. I really got to know the places, people, nature, and cultures. I have backpacked all over Europe and South East Asia. I also lived in Hawaii, the Caribbean, and the Rocky Mountains for extended periods. These are my specialties.

I have worked several years in the travel field- in the hotel industry, the car rental industry, and the tour industry.  I have a deep understanding of how these industries work and how to get great deals. I can work with all budgets, as I have done everything from camping for $1/ night to staying in stunning luxury castles and everything in between.

If you want an unboring vacation, you have come to the right place. No matter how adventurous you are, I've got incredible itineraries for you. I have flown planes, jumped out of them, dove with giant manta rays, snorkeled with sharks, swam with dolphins. I'd love to introduce you to a new adventure you have never thought of! For less active people, I've still got hundreds of things to keep you busy! Or just great places to relax. 

I am an environmentalist, so I love to help people with more sustainable options of the world. For example, smaller educational cruise ships or safaris that won't have too many people crammed around the animals. Certain countries are more conservation-minded. 

I now live in California. Just Los Angeles alone has about 1000 exceptionally interesting and exciting places to stay and play. It is unbelievable how exciting this place is if you just know where to go. Unfortunately, I have talked to a lot of people who didn't like it just because they didn't have the right guidance.

No matter how many places I travel to, I am amazed at how many more interesting finds keep getting added to my international bucket list. I keep track of extra interesting pools, rooftops, best train rides, and even seasonals like incredible flower blooms and unique festivals. There are not many people more obsessed with travel than I, and I am confident that I can give you the best vacation you can possibly have within your parameters.
