I have bachelors degrees in both Microbiology and Foods and Nutrition from Washington State University. While staying at home raising my two boys, I took classes from the International Institute of Travel & Tourism because of my longstanding interest in the field of travel. It quickly became obvious that I had found my calling, which resulted in the opening of my own agency in 1984. In the ensuing 38 years, I have had the opportunity to travel extensively across the globe, which gave me tremendous experience and insight to help my clients with their travel planning. I take pride in planning specialized itineraries to places like India, Egypt, China, as well as Safaris, and River & Ocean cruises. Also, I trained my agents in "Destination Weddings" as a specialized niche. We have planned weddings for parties of 2 to 200, in the Caribbean, Mexico & Europe. I am an INDIA expert. Besides being born there, knowing the geography, language and history of India, I also have received specialized training in Indian tourism. I love planning specialized trips to India for individuals, families, and large groups like the "Asia Society of Houston". I can show the best of India to all my clients, whether they are natives or new to the country.

Deepi has been MY travel agent for over 30 years! She has been simply the BEST and has helped me whether I am traveling with 2-3 others, alone, or with 120 people. Yes--she has done all three of those-many time. She has found us great deals on travel and has consistently made me feel like I am her ONLY client (when I know she has hundreds!). Something that few people think about, but when the unexpected happens on a trip and someone on the trip has to make an emergency return home, that is when Deepi SHINES. She has solved many problems like that through the years. In times like those when it would be easy to feel stranded; she steps up and helps to quickly solve the issue. Try getting THAT kind of service from an "online" provider! I will be using Deepi for many years to come!

We have had the pleasure of meeting Deepi 5 years ago with our cruise to Alaska which was a dream come true. All accommodations where handled by her agency and were top notch. Since that cruise my husband was diagnosed with ALS a horrific fatal disease. Each year we go on extended cruises and as his illness progresses Deepi has made sure that all handicap accommodations are made ahead of time to make our vacations smooth sailing. I highly recommend Deepi for all travel necessities just be ready to sit back and enjoy all that she can do for you.

Sweet Memorable Honeymoon

We have been planning trips with Deepi for over 10 years. We first used Deepi's services for our honeymoon to St. Lucia, which was planned perfectly. Before we left for our honeymoon she gave us her phone number so that if we had any problems we could get in touch with her to resolve them. Everything was great, so there was never a need to call her. When we arrived to our room she had a note and a welcome gift wishing us a great honeymoon. Since then she has been our go to travel agent for our family vacations. Deepi pays attention to details and helps find the perfect vacation within your budget. Deep is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful travel agent. Always on top of trips available and all requirements. Pays a lot of attention to details that travelers may not think about. She planned our Alaskan cruise. Our flights were leaving the day Harvey hit the Houston area. She was great asset to advise us to leave a day early ahead of the storm. I have been using Deepi’s travel services mainly since my retirement at the end of 2018. I have not ever visited any of the destinations I’ve travelled to already and plan to travel in the future. So it was very important for the success of my travel experience to not just deal with someone who could properly book the required reservations for the respective cruises, tours, airfare, etc. but who was very knowledgeable about my destinations and could thus help ensure I visited some of the less known, but equally beautiful sites during my trips. From the planning through the execution of the plan, Deepi has been an integral partner in making sure I get the best pricing as well as her best input on the places I should include in my itinerary and how long to spend in each.
Whether a short trip or an extended one, I highly recommend Deepi. While many parts of a trip can be booked directly online these days, websites don’t measure up to years of extensive professional experience.

Although my husband, sons and I are seasoned travelers, we never book a cruise without Deepi's counsel and assistance. We have had many experiences planned by Deepi; none better than the very first! It was a drive up Highway 101 from SF all the way to Vancouver, BC. There wasn't one overnight stay that wasn't in a fabulous non-chain hostelry. These were places that someone had to know about; you didn't just happen by. Wonderful 2 weeks! And that's how it has been on all or our trips. Attention to detail that takes the stress out of traveling.
25 years from that first trip and I still think she's the best at what she does!

Memorable Trip

I have worked with Deepi for a long time. In 2000 she arranged a tour of Australia and New Zealand as we were going for the Sydney Olympics. It was a six week trip and was very well organized with all the connecting flights and some one to pick us at every destination. Deepi had been able to make the trip very comfortable with no worries for us. Great experience. Deepi has also arranged a lot of cruises for us and all have been wonderful. In March 2020, we were on cruise from Rome to Dubai when to Coronavirus was getting to be worrisome. Deepi helped us change our flight so we could reach home as soon as we reached Dubai. We were still on the ship with many Sea Days. We reached out to her and she changed out return flight. That was very helpful.

Deepi was able to find a land package for my daughter and I to tour Norway after I gave up trying to put one together on my own. Unfortunately covid has caused us to have to reschedule the trip twice (and we will hopefully get to go this summer). Deepi has planned several trips/cruises for my church group (Tallowood Baptist Church) over a period of several years She also planned a South American Cruise, and traveled with us, which was a tremendously enjoyable vacation!

Deepi provides excellent travel advice. I wanted to cancel a cruise but she advised to wait and I received 125% credit for my cruise. She is very though and keeps track of due dates for my trips.
