I am a firm believer that girlfriends will help you get through anything. These friends could be close to home or miles away, but at any moment they are there for you.
Several years ago a few of my friends from way back in high school decided to get together for dinner. That dinner turned into another which turned into a quick night away to more dinners and has evolved to at least one vacation a year.
These Girls Getaways give me excitement throughout the year knowing that I get to not only have time to myself, catering to no one, but I get to spend time with my friends. This is something that as we get older we realize is something that should be cherished.
But Girls Getaways don’t have to mean adults. Have a mom, or daughter? Make it a multi-generational girls getaway. Teach your daughter the importance of true friendship and invite a friend of hers to go with you. I do this with my daughter and she now looks forward to her girl trip.

Stephanie provided us with destination options to choose from for our honeymoon. We knew we wanted to try new things and go outside of our comfort zone, so we gave her activity ideas like what we like to do/want to do. She recommended our honeymoon destination, Hotel Xcaret in Mexico-all inclusive. She gave us room options along with pricing, "bang for our buck" advice and flight and flexibility options on a payment plan. She booked everything to the detail-including departure time from the airport the day after our wedding (because I specifically asked for no early flights at the risk of missing it). She contacted the hotel for us to book our excursions and helped with the transportation to ensure we had a ride back and forth because of our arrival time in Mexico. Stephanie made planning a honeymoon, SO STRESS FREE! I am so thankful for her help and making it the best experience of our lives, and one to remember forever!
