I am Therese Markham, owner of Epic Travel Awaits, LLC.

Travel and photography are my true passions! They both create memories and tell stories to last a lifetime. My background is in education, as a teacher in both CA and TX in various positions. As someone who was looking for a career change, I decided to follow my passions and pursue what I know and love, TRAVEL!

Epic Travel Awaits is a boutique travel agency that has strong connections with a large variety of supplier partners in the industry. I can help you curate any travel experience from ocean or river cruises, Caribbean all-inclusives, special interest travel, Europe custom or tour groups, group travel, or personally curated luxury vacations. If you can dream it, I can help you plan it!

I am a mom to 6 high school/college age children. In our free time we love to, you guessed it, travel! I have personally traveled to over 25 US states, including Hawaii, and 20+ countries outside the US: Canada, Central America, various Caribbean islands, all of Western Europe, and Ireland! And I still have so many more destinations on the bucket list!

With an abundance of internet information, I can help you narrow down your choices, take the hassle out of research and planning, and have the ability to add those special touches and unique experiences to make your travels stress free and memorable. I love to not only travel, but enjoy researching and planning trips that will be unique and epic. I would love to work with you to plan and book your next adventure!

Rather than investing in things that we tire of over time, I believe in investing in travel and experiences...they are far more meaningful, relationship building, and create memories to last a lifetime!

Therese, with Epic Travel Awaits, has been more helpful than I could have ever imagined, with our trip to Italy. She planned our trip perfectly! Every detail was covered. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The hotels were lovely and comfortable and conveniently located. All of our transfers were there to pick us up right on time. The excursions she suggested were fun and so informative, yet we had plenty of free time to explore on our own. We saw so much and learned so much about Italy. She was very quick to answer any questions we had before the trip, and she checked in with us during our trip to make sure everything was going well. She is very knowledgeable about all things travel. It was the best trip and we couldn't have done it without her! We will definitely ask her to help with our next trip. I highly recommend her services! Oh, and we really loved the app too! Everything we needed to check our itinerary was right there. So easy!

Best University Trip Ever

Therese Markham was the most professional and helpful person I have ever dealt with in helping us organize a trip by 17 Finance Seniors from the Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas, to visit numerous companies and sites in London and Zurich, including a one-day trip to Vevey, Switzerland, by train, to visit Nestle HQ. The Royal Treatment!

Therese got us THE BEST accommodations and excursions from the PERFECT locations in Rome, Florence and Venice!
