Travel to me is cultural immersion, new places, meeting new people, culinary experiences, adventure and spontaneity.  It also offers me the ability to step out of my comfort zone just a little bit. 

Let me introduce myself. My name is Debbie Sebastian and I have been a Travel advisor for 38 years. From that alone you will figure out I am not “young” but I am “young” at heart!  I don’t allow my age (or size) define me or hold me back and you shouldn’t either! 

Let me take you on a few days of travels with me. Our journey started with a leisurely sunrise hike around Ayers Rock in the great outback of Australia with a local guide.  After a local lunch with Emu and kangaroo pizza, we met with an Uluru Family spending time learning about the oldest living culture in the world. Our day continued into the evening with a Camel ride at sunset overlooking the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National park while watching the dingos play around us. An unforgettable dining experience under the stars was prepared for us including a resident Star talker decoding the southern night sky.

 As I have a love for animals I couldn’t pass up a recent opportunity to head to Sawai Madhopur, India for a Tiger safari. Literally breathe taking amazing!  After spending the morning watching tigers play, the afternoon was spent in the local village visiting Dhonk learning and watching the crafts of the locals.  We stayed in once was once a hunters lodge.  As we dined that evening I only wished the walls could talk and tell stories of the Maharaja of Jaipur that often stayed at the Lodge. If horseback riding through the Rain forest of Costa Rica, Zip lining through forest, cruise expedition through Antarctica, riding an ATV in the outback, learning the spice markets of India, touring the Catacombs of Israel, dining under the stars of Africa while a herd of elephants led by the Matriarch pass in front of you, perhaps riding in a sidecar through Shanghai, a ghost walk at dusk through the streets of Edinburgh, Climbing the Sydney bridge or maybe taking a helicopter ride to land on an ice glacier in New Zealand for a brisk walk, kayaking in the nooks of Alaska intrigue or excite you, it’s time to travel and explore.
