Since we were children my husband Dwayne and I have had a passion for travel. My family vacations took us to every state in the continental U.S. by RV. My parents went off the beaten path by choosing unique learning opportunities and historic locations. As a college student I lived and studied in Nantes, France. There, I hopped on the train to visit 11 different countries and fell in love with European travel. It sparked my wanderlust. 

At the age of 9, Dwayne took his first cruise with his parents aboard MS Sunward II, and he was hooked! Upon return home to Northern Virginia/Washington DC, he biked to local travel agencies to collect and view all the travel and cruise brochures he could find. While his research methods have evolved from print to  virtual resources, he hasn't stopped learning about cruises. Dwayne has extensive knowledge of ocean cruise lines, ships and their amenities, and cruise itineraries.

As a young couple, we took many of our first vacations together to amusement parks all around North America. We loved to drive from park to park, sometimes foregoing sleep to rope drop the next amazing ride we could find. Now as travel advisors, in addition to staying up to date via research and training, we live just a drive away Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa, and more, and have held season passes to all the major Florida theme parks. This helps us stay current on the latest amusement park tips.

Our combined travel experiences led to our early dream to one-day open a family travel agency, and the name Joined at the Ship Travel just seemed like a natural choice. 5 years experience planning your dream cruise vacations, 39 countries and 49 US states visited, 248 different roller coasters under our belts, and our love for travel are what inspire us to serve you. While Joined at the Ship Travel specializes in planning cruise vacations, we would love to plan any dream vacation you desire.
