My name is Heather Hunker, and I joined the team at Magical Moments Vacations in April 2019. My husband, two children, and I place great value on the time and money we invest into traveling. The experiences and memories we are creating as a family are truly priceless. My favorite travel destinations include anywhere in the Caribbean, Mexico, Walt Disney World, and Universal Orlando. We also love cruises!! 

Along with my time spent qualifying you for the best resorts based on your preferences, and then quoting each property, my range of services when booking with me include pre-travel and in-destination support in the event of any emergencies or changes that arise, pre-travel timelines and reminders of when additional items can be booked or final payments due, making modifications to your booking, and preparing all of your final travel docs and instructions, including my exclusive destination tip guides that I create for my clients (and update frequently each time I travel to a particular destination). You can ensure you are always getting the same person when you have a question, compared to booking online and dealing with call centers.

My value does not come in just finding good deals. It comes in the form of saving you time from researching. It comes with first-hand professional knowledge of a destination and learning what would be a good fit for you. My value is in your peace of mind knowing if something goes wrong, I am there to bat for you. Sometimes it comes in the form of correcting a mistake the resort has made, while you continue to sip margaritas ocean front. When you work with me, you’re a client—not just a booking number on a third-party website.

Our amazing honeymoon

My wife and I had an amazing honeymoon thanks to Heather! Heather provided us with a detailed overview of different locations we would enjoy, and were able to pick the best resort for us. We were a little worried about traveling during this time, but Heather made it as easy as could be. She informed us of everything we needed to complete and was able to answer any questions we had. We were informed promptly of any changes that were made, including flight times and updates with COVID. Great vacation

We recently returned from a trip to Secrets Maroma Beach that we booked through Heather. Our trip was an amazing experience and Heather was a big reason why. Great Family Disney Trip!

Honeymoon!

Best Honeymoon Ever!

Heather's services were outstanding! From the very beginning, her responsiveness to questions or concerns was so quick. In the planning stages, she worked with our budget and exactly what we said we were looking for in our dream honeymoon and gave us options to choose from, all of which looked amazing! After booking, she kept us up to date with due dates for payment, was amazingly helpful booking transfers and excursions and had so much information regarding travel specific to St. Lucia. It was so very helpful during packing and knowing what to expect. Also, she was extremely helpful in all of the required documents for the COVID protocols and testing. I would not have gotten through that portion without her! We had the most amazing honeymoon thanks to Heather and are already looking at when we can go back to Sandals and which one will be our next spot!! Thank you so very much for everything!!

From the moment I contacted her about our honeymoon, she would answer all my questions within minutes. Marco Island, you’re cute!

We absolutely had a wonderful time in Marco Island! Heather was so knowledgeable about the area that we became so excited! DISNEY DONE RIGHT

A minimoon to the Dominican Republic

Most Magical Vacation ever!

Booking our Disney trip through Heather was one of the best decisions we have made. She handled every detail of the resort, the tickets, our memory maker package etc. She also handled canceling and rescheduling everything after COVID. Not the mention the endless tips and tricks she shared that made our trip go so smoothly. But most of all, she helped us manage a medical issue we had on our trip, simultaneously handling finding us a pharmacy that was open until 9, canceling our 8:30 dinner reservation so we didn't get charged, and working on trying to find a furloughed cast member to deliver the Rx. While she did all of this, I could continue to be a mom and a wife, knowing she was handling that. By 9:30 we had the Rx and were all in bed and all 5 of us were up bright and early the next morning skipping our way to Magic Kingdom. The rest of the trip was magical, she truly saved the day! Thank you Heather!

Incredible Honeymoon- Thanks To Heather!!!

Heather was an angel sent to us! My husband and I struggled to find a travel agent who would help us through our honeymoon process.

Heather was so quick to answer all of our questions and concerns as first timers flying to an all inclusive resort. She went above and beyond and walked us through every step of the way- and immediately took care of us when our flight got canceled. We had no idea how to book an all inclusive, so she made sure to ask us questions and took the stress away from our honeymoon!!

A Stress Free Vacation!

From the quoting stage to arriving back home after your trip, Heather is responsive and so knowledgeable the entire way. When quoting our trip Heather offered different options in different locations and different price ranges. Prior to leaving she provided us with a travel guide that was detailed beyond belief. I am the type of person to get anxiety surrounding traveling to places I have never been and Heather eased my anxieties by being able to tell us step by step the process we would go through once arriving to the Los Cabos International airport. Now for those of you who know me personally, I’m a bit OCD, ask a million questions, and want a trip (as we took to Cancun) to be near perfect! She made the process so easy, made corrections from our passports to our flight information and text us throughout our first day to ensure we got to where we were supposed to be going! All went smoothly and then Sunday arrives and I receive a text and email from Delta stating our flight was rescheduled and we would not return until early Wednesday morning. That was not going to work for us since we had to be back to work. I immediately text Heather and within a COUPLE OF MINUTES she was already looking at new flights!! She had a new flight with a new airline in LITERALLY 15 minutes!! What a sigh of relief! As soon as we arrived home, I opened my email and she had already started the insurance claim process for the flight reimbursement! She is the best hands down!!

International Bachelorette Party!

Heather planned and executed a FLAWLESS bachelorette party to Cancun for a group of 9 people traveling from 6 DIFFERENT STATES!! She helped coordinate our flights and had a shuttle service arranged to take us to/from the airport with ZERO WAIT TIME. Vacation to paradise!!

Our First Big Family Vacation!

After discussing our ideals for a family vacation, Heather booked us a 5-day, 4-night trip to Universal Studios in Orlando. It was absolutely incredible! From the quick turn-around with an itinerary that fit our needs perfectly, to her specialized tips and tricks for a better visit, we felt very well taken care of. I appreciated how all the costs were laid out up front so we could budget for the trip effectively. Heather’s recommendations for the 2-day Park to Park pass so we could ride the Hogwarts Express, breakfast experiences at both The Three Broomsticks and The Leaky Cauldron, and Express Pass that came with our Loews Royal Pacific Resort stay were the cherry on top of an amazing sundae! We truly enjoyed every moment of our trip, made wonderful lasting memories, and would definitely book again. Wonderful vacation

Heather was fantastic! She listened to all of my concerns and worries and was patient as I asked for different options. The trip was seemless. Every detail was laid out. As a single mom traveling alone with my 14 year old daughter, out of the country for the first time, this was critical. Everything went exactly how she explained that it would, even down to small details like how much tips were expected for various resort services. Nothing was left out. Heather also responded to me quickly every time I had a question. I felt like I had a me on the other end! You can tell she has a passion for her work and for her clients. I was referred to Heather from a friend and was looking for someone to plan the whole trip because it is GRUELING for me to do on my own. I had a fantastic experience with Heather managing my Disney World vacation. Disney can be a very complicated trip but her experience and recommendations made the process much easier. She was able to suggest which resort to stay out and helped lay out a schedule of parks based on the number of days we had available. Heather made sure to stay on top of all the details with login, scheduling parks and meals. Unfortunately we had one person cancel but Heather was able to minimize the financial impact and spent her own time adjusting the dining reservations for me. Heather is very experienced and detail oriented. I highly recommend her services for Disney World vacations.

Best Honeymoon!

We are so happy we decided to have Heather book our honeymoon! From the very first inquiry all the way up until we got home from our honeymoon, Heather was so responsive. I told Heather our desired destination, dates, desired airport, and any excursions we wanted to do and she took everything from there. It is so clear that Heather cares about her clients! She will give you her expert tips before your trip, but she will also be available for you if you need absolutely anything while you are on your trip. Our first leg of our travel day was delayed due to a plane issue and we didn't think we'd make our connecting flight. Heather hopped on the phone with me (at 6:30am!!) to talk me through all the details of what to do to give ourselves the best shot of making our flight and what to do if we didn't make it in time. Family Cancun Trip

Working with Heather was such a great experience! I wanted to plan the best honeymoon for my fiancée but I was very ignorant about traveling to the Caribbean. I lucked into google searching travel agents and found Heather on Magical moments and work with her was from a gift from God. Heather was always very quick with communication. She gave us many options and many things to consider when planning our trip. She found many options for our budget. The resort we decided based on her recommendation was awesome. Our honeymoon was so much fun and when we did not want to leave! On our way home our flight was delayed and Heather checked in with us and gave us advice about what we should do to reach our connecting. Heather was the best! Heather Hunker is a 10 star travel agent!! She always has the best information packet for our pre-trip read, and her directives are on spot! With my daughter in a cast (she broke her foot a week and a half prior) we thought the vaca would be a wash. Instead it was amazing and we will book this resort again! They assisted us by constructing a ramp up to our patio, helped her out throughout the resort, and helped her in and out of the boat for snorkeling and boating!! Heather, I loved that you were a wealth of information and very communicative about our trip. I was very hesitant as we are new to traveling and you've helped us a lot. We loved our time in Jamaica. I am so glad that we upgraded to the villa and the butler service as per your suggestion but was disappointed that the butler will not go to the pool to reserve our spots for us ~ they told us that they will get in trouble doing that.

We did visit the Dunns Falls and that was an amazing adventure. Thank you for that tip. 

Overall we loved our Jamaica Trip. The other downside that we experienced is losing the 2 days of our vacation due to travel days so we might opt for a closer destination next time.

First Family Trip to Disney!

She started off with quick turn-around time on possible resorts within our budget with their included amenities so we could make a decision. After we decided on the resort, Heather kept in contact about pricing, booking, using the Disney app, and timelines. We were able to get restaurant reservations at each place we wanted thanks to Heather's tips! In addition, her "Heather Hints" document proved to be invaluable as far as scheduling and planning once we were at the specific parks. We had a bit of a weather delay, but Heather had a new itinerary ready for us within about 15 minutes so our trip was able to get back on track! She has everything planned out to a T ready to go days, weeks, months before your actual departure and keeps in touch during your vacation to ensure everything is up to expectation. I took a leap of faith with the resort we just visited. Heather shared with me it was a newer resort (Margaritaville Island Reserve) and had received lots of positive feedback from other travelers. So we went for it and LOVED IT! I even called her upon our arrival to share that the resort upgraded us to the Presidential swim out suite! The entire trip was just amazing and it was all in part to Heather and her expertise for what suits her clientele's needs the best! Thank you again Heather!
PS...I've already booked Jamaica for July!! Bringing on my 50th birthday with style and class!!

A wonderful honeymoon experience

Heather planned our honeymoon to St. Lucia and was such a huge help. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and understood exactly the kind of trip we had hoped to plan. She made international travel a breeze even with ever changing Covid-related protocols. Wonderful Honeymoon

We’re so glad we booked our Honeymoon with Heather. We were both new to Sandals Resorts and traveling out of the country. She helped us pick a resort and find the best room for us.
We were so glad that we spent the extra money and got the amazing room that we did. We never would have picked it without Heather’s expertise and suggestions. It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Can’t thank Heather enough for all the help and suggestions. Booking through Heather made so many of those hard decisions just so much easier. I will definitely encourage people to book vacations through Heather just to have that added help on where to spend the extra money and where you can pass on it.

Best Family Vacation!

I can't say enough positive things about Heather from Magical moments vacations. From the beginning of searching for the right vacation spot she was so patient in gathering information on many different options. I constantly bombarded her with many questions or her her opinion due to anxiety about traveling internationally with our kids and she always was honest and quick to respond. She notified us as soon as our itinerary changed due to flight schedule changes. Even when Heather was traveling for her business she was always available to message and always quick to respond. Her emails she sent to give specific details of our itinerary close to our departure were so detailed and easy to follow definitely eased my worries about traveling, especially during covid. You can tell Heather puts in a lot of work to make sure her clients have the best experience possible. I would give Heather a 10/10 for her outstanding work!
