Some of these highlights have included cage diving with great white sharks in South Africa, camping in Antarctica, hiking the islands of the Lofoten archipelago in Norway, crawling into the Kings Chamber in the Great Pyramid of Khufu in Egypt, diving the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Ahmer helped plan and book my first family vacation in France. I was travelling to France on a business trip and decided to take a vacation afterwards. Ahmer was extremely approachable, knowledgable and friendly, and went out of his way to customize the trip for us. My family and I were flying in to Paris and returning from Nice. He planned and booked the air ticket and local tours for us. He even recommended against booking certain tours and do the activity on our own instead (to save time and money). He has travelled extensively throughout his life with and without his family - this sets him apart from other travel agents as he actually knows the destination thoroughly. I would definitely book my future trips with him.

Best adventure and most exciting trip Ive been on!

Of all the vacations and adventures I've been on, none compared to this one. And this was all thanks to Ahmer and his compassion and commitment to making my trip so unique. I was very impressed by the locations that he chose. We made drives through places I have only read about. From the ocean views at the places we stayed nestled in remote rain forests to the deep jungle we explored, everything was not only exciting, but of envy to my friends and family. Every picture we took was something I had barely experienced prior. For me the thing that stood out was the feeling we had backpacking into the Ova Peninsula. I had never seen so much wildlife outside of a documentary. I am looking forward to our next engagement with Ahmer. I can not wait to see what he has planned for us in the future.

An unforgettable trip to Egypt 2023

Ahmer Khan was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and attentive to details as we worked on planning a 10-day trip to Egypt for our group of friends. I have been to Egypt before several times and I knew in my initial conversation with Ahmer that he had an in-depth knowledge of Egypt that would make our trip seamless. While on the trip, I had to contact Ahmer a couple of times for questions and he responded immediately. This helped us feel supported even though we were so far away. Planning the trip with Ahmer also made the process easy and fun and I felt like I could talk to him for hours about our trip. From this point forward, I will likely never plan a major trip without Ahmer's assistance. It made the world of difference for myself and my friends and we returned with some of the most epic memories of lives, and we have Ahmer to thank for that!

Best Agent

The Hourglass travel service is a huge benefit to help plan with someone who cares and are seasoned avid world travelers. Our family, including our 90 year old mother, traveled to Taiwan and Japan. Five of us saved over $300 per person. The agency did the planning to get us a private shuttle for the long drive from the airport to the hotel in Tokyo. We had to rearrange times and hotels which our agent did smoothly. Attempting to do these changes ourselves would have been stressful and added costs. I recommend Ahmer to my traveling friends and now to you. The saying "use the right tool for the right job" is so true. Use the right travel agent.

I had the pleasure of working with Ahmer on a recent trip to Spain for my 50th birthday party. We had two separate families and a range of age ranges. I can say without hesitation that he provided excellent recommendations for excursions and optimal timing throughout the entire trip. Most importantly, he was able to secure very good pricing for reservations without issue, and accommodated changes as we developed our plans - flamenco shows, wineries, cooking classes, cathedral tours - on and on. It’s as if Ahmer just returned from Spain himself and shared lessons learned and knew how to get right to the good stuff. Obviously, I will put Ahmer to work again for my 51st birthday celebration.
