I have always had a passion for traveling so it was no surprise to friends and family when I launched my own travel business, K & J Travel, 24 years ago.

After retiring from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in 2012 and a career of 39+ years in the Finance department with the underpinnings of Nexion, there was little transition moving from part-time into a well established full time travel business.

In my quest to enhance my travel knowledge base I earned several specialist cruise supplier certifications, accreditation as a CTC (Certified Travel Counselor) and ECC (Executive Cruise Counselor). I worked diligently with bookings to reach an income level allowing me to obtain an IATAN card.

What I think sets me apart from other agents is not only my extensive experience with booking travel but my goal of creating a comfortable personal experience for my clients as well as developing professional relationships with the suppliers.

My academic background: Bachelor Degree in Corporate Management and a Master Degree in Business Administration. Additionally I served as an adjunct business professor for 18 years.
