I have always loved to travel and have toured 49 U.S. states, several US Territories, and numerous foreign countries. My husband and I have traveled by car, air, rail and sea and I enjoy every aspect of it. Whether it is the beach, the mountains, or anything in between, I relish the opportunity to explore and learn about new destinations and cultures. 

One of my greatest pleasures has been introducing my children and grandchildren to the joy of travel. I have enjoyed bringing them to Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Studios (Orlando and Hollywood), Legoland, Busch Gardens and other theme parks, as well as cruising on Disney, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian, Carnival, MSC, with the list growing all the time. 

We have also enjoyed many National Parks including Hawaii's Volcanoes, Dry Tortugas, Denali, Yellowstone, Arches, Grand Canyon, Smokey and Rocky Mountains, Grand Tetons, Badlands, and more. I have plans in place to visit even more of our national treasures. 

I haven't been to a destination that I haven't enjoyed, learned something new about, or wanted to return to, but of all of them, I have a clear favorite. My tour through the  Israel stands out above everything else. Experiencing the places that I read about in Scriptures really brought the Bible to life.

My Favorites Destinations

Israel has been my favorite destination, but there are other memorable vacations. For example, in Alaska were able to view the Aurora Borealis, ride a dog sled, drive a snow machine, swim in a hot spring (in freezing temperatures), ride to the Arctic Circle, and more!

Another favorite was a Southern Caribbean cruise, visiting six ports in 11 days. The excursions were fantastic - touring the rain forest in Costa Rica, boating in the Panama Canal, enjoying the beaches of Curacao and Bonaire, and experiencing the culture of Colombia are some of the highlights!

Equally as memorable was a fall foliage tour through the New England states. I was amazed by the vibrant color of the leaves, awed by the many waterfalls, and intrigued by the history.
