Why I Love Traveling: While in college, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany for a summer. Experiencing all the different sites, foods, and people definitely gave me the travel bug and provided an “a-ha!" moment for me. History was actually brought to life! I didn't feel so small in the world anymore, and I felt like I was part of a bigger connection and story. I realized we are more alike than different, even though we may live in a different culture or speak a different language. Ever since then, my goal has been to instill that love of travel in my children and for them to understand they are part of a bigger story that they can share with others.
