When I was 20 years old, I begged my mother to allow me to take my 6-year-old sister on a trip to Disney World. The trip was a gift to her — a chance for her to experience the wonder and magic of Disney. In the end, however, I feel that I received the true gift. I was able to experience the magic through her eyes, and it got me hooked on Disney. From then on, I continued to travel to Disney nearly every year. Eventually, I would bring my own daughter each year, even when money was tight and the budget felt impossible. By knowing how to do it right, I was able to fulfill my dreams of traveling with my daughter and giving her the truly magical feeling of childhood.
