In over twenty years as a psychotherapist, I always considered cruise vacations my therapy. I would enjoy sunsets most of all and took countless pictures of the view looking out over the water or admiring beautiful ports as we approached first thing in the morning. My vacations help me keep my life in balance. I would bring my pictures back and display my pictures on screen savers and digital frames around my office, something that benefited not only me, but also my clients. Then one day I started helping people plan their own travel therapy. I truly believe vacations and travel can be an invaluable part of recharging and reconnecting. I started out helping family and friends plan their cruises, then branched out to Walt Disney World Resort vacations, Universal Orlando Resort Vacations, and All-Inclusive and package vacations all over the Caribbean. I have been part of the Dugan's Travels family since 2012 and with my travel agent family behind me, I would love to help you plan a little travel therapy. An amazing celebration vacation

Having never worked with a travel agent, I didn't know what to expect. Marie took all the logistical stress away, out the gate. I feel like all I had to do was tell her what we wanted in a vacation and she took care of the rest. She also went the extra mile to sort out several COVID complications. (For instance, we still have no idea why our health 8 year old was denied a travel authorization by Jamaica, but Marie worked diligently to sort it out and he got an acceptance.) I would DEFINITELY reach out to Marie again to help me plan some travel.

Marie knows how to help you figure out what you want from your vacation, as well as how to plan things to make it all happen. A lot of agents can do the second part, but it's much harder to find one who is skilled at the first part. Every trip you take is unique, even if you go to the same place with the same people at the same time every year... It's well worth the effort to take the time to find a travel agent who understands that concept. Going on our next cruise adventure at the end of the year - can't wait :-)

Easy Sailing

Marie helped us plan a vacation on a 7 day cruise for my family. Really awesome experience. Not my first cruise, but definitely one of my favorites. She definitely made the planning and booking process so easy for me. She also sent a few little travel items like lanyards, hand sanitizer, phone holders, and other items as a little gift in preparation for the trip. Super kind and helpful.

A fun and safe trip during this crazy pandemic!

Marie handled every aspect of the trip—all I had to do was show up and have a good time! I appreciated being kept up-to-date on all the health and safety guidelines, and it made traveling during the pandemic feel a lot safer than I had expected. The trip itself was amazing, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It felt particularly special to be part of the Carnival Mardi Gras’ pre-inaugural sailing. I can’t wait for Marie to plan my next vacation!

Perfect Caribbean island destination!

Having Marie plan our trip to St. Martin was like leaving arrangements in the hands of a trusted friend. She kept us on top of changing travel guidelines, made sure we met deadlines, and helped us find excursions to please everyone in our party. Our suite at Divi Little Bay was perfectly situated. We were steps from the Caribbean sea, two restaurants, and three pools. She couldn't have chosen a more perfect place for us to stay in St. Martin.

A Fantastic Reunion Trip!

Our group travelled together for the second time on the Carnival Mardi Gras. Our trip was expertly planned by Marie Guilford. I have used many travel agencies over the years, but Marie Guilford’s stands far above the competition. Her knack for understanding and anticipating her guests’ needs is astounding!
