The first thing you'll notice about me when you call the office is my accent. I come from “Between the Rivers” in North Louisiana. As the granddaughter of a steamboat captain, my love of the river comes naturally. I first began working in the cruise industry in the mid 1970’s as entertainment staff of an oceangoing vessel sailing out of New Orleans. After a brief move to Europe, I returned home to begin a 10 year career working on paddle wheel steamboats on the Mississippi River. I even met and married my bandleader husband, David, onboard the Delta Queen! Now we live on the Columbia River, and the Northwest is so beautiful.

Nadine Louviere is by far the best travel agent/advisor from whom I have received service. Nadine has given excellent assistance in all aspects of travel on four steamboat cruises and a train trip across Canada. She has helped in the selection of trips, possibilities for pre- or post-trip stays (including recommendations for hotels, restaurants, activities and special sights/events). Throughout the planning, booking, and the trip itself, Nadine has always been accessible, knowledgeable, personable and efficient. She consistently exhibits a special interest, giving personal attention to each traveler as if we were her most important client . She has also provided invaluable tips and stories based on her own experiences which have added a special dimension to our trips.
