I have been in the travel industry for over 10 years. I fell in love with travelling at a young age and am lucky to have travelled to over 12 countries. I love exploring new destinations and seeing the world. Being from a small town in Nebraska, I enjoy seeing and experiencing cities and countries that are so different than what I see in my daily life.
What I love most about working as a travel agent is working with clients to explore and see the world. Each client I work with has individual ideas and preferences that make up their ideal vacation. My goal is find each client's dream vacation and make it a reality.
I work hard to stay educated and informed in an ever changing industry. I am constantly learning and adapting to new destinations, suppliers, and regulations.

Wonderful Trip to Cancun!

Kate set up my recent stay at Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun, and I could not have been more pleased with the trip! I hadn’t traveled out of the country for a long time, but she made everything super easy and stress-free. Every aspect of the trip, including travel from the airport to the resort, was well planned out. And the resort itself was wonderful! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the beach and pool areas were both great for relaxing and fun. I enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely book future travel through Wegner Travel!

Danube Delight

Our wonderfully planned trip got off to a bad start as our initial flight left 2 1/2 hours late. We missed our next flight in Canada at 11:30 pm. The airline did nothing for us, after talking till 3:00 am. We got a hotel, and as we were checking in, I called Kate’s voicemail and explained the situation. We were awoke the next morning with our problem solved. All our instructions, tickets and arrangements in Europe made!Kate saved the trip.

We have went on three trips planned by Kate and have zero complaints! With so many resorts and locations to choose from, she always ensures we pick a top notch resort within our budget. We have been lucky to have zero travel issues, but the peace of mind I receive by booking with Kate, knowing she's there to assist should problems arrive, is most definitely worth it. 110% recommend booking a trip with Kate. You will have a wonderful experience!

Family trip

Kate was amazing to work with. We told her what type of resort we were looking for and she gave us different options until we found the one. It was so nice leaving all the flight and resort reservations to her. She even booked our ride to/from the airport. We had some issues with flight delays and she was by our side the entire way to get not only flights rescheduled but also notifying our transfer about our arrival time to the airport. This was our first trip out of the US so it was very reassuring knowing if we had any issues she was right there helping. Would definitely recommend Kate for any travel you may have in the future.
