Thank you for visiting my Travel Profile! My name is Alyssa J. Stevens and I have been a Travel Advisor for approximately five years though I have been traveling for approximately 35, both domestically and internationally. In all, I have visited two US Territories, three Continents, 25 Countries and 36 States plus our Nation's Capital! To say travel is my passion is an understatement. Some of the destinations I treasure include Costa Rica, England, Poland, Trinidad & Tobago
Prior to joining the Travel Industry I worked for a unique Study Abroad and Global Studies degree program at Long Island University recruiting, advising, enrolling and even, escorting students abroad for a decade. Our international campuses traversed the globe and included stops in Australia, China, India, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and more! My study abroad experience through this exact program allowed me to share my experiences and encourage others to have their own transformational adventure! I continue to do so to date as an Independent Travel Advisor with a focus on special occasion travel for individuals and groups.
My credentials include an undergraduate degree in Communications - Public Relations (BFA), a graduate degree in English - Teaching of Writing (MA), Travel Advisor Studies through the Travel Leaders of Tomorrow Program (TLOT) and a Verified Travel Advisor (VTA) designation from the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). I hold specializations in many destinations throughout the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico as well as was recognized as one of ASTA's Travel Advisors of the Year 2020.

Well, I always book my trips in advance, so this review is based on my experience prior to travel. I booked a cruise with Virgin for October 2024.. Unfortunately, that was cancelled due to their new ship delayed. Alyssa was on it before I could blink my eye. She communicated what happened, and told me the steps forward. The same day Virgin added new itineraries, is the same day my rebooking was complete! Alyssa is AWESOME! I would recommend her to everyone.

Ms. Stevens was quite knowledgable about Caribbean travel and provided many options to choose from. Her friendly personality makes it easy to talk with her and I felt very confident everything would go smoothly for our vacation.She was professional, efficient and honest from start to finish, saying often that she would only recommend reputable vendors that she had done business with before. The accommodations that Alyssa suggested were amazing and she even arranged a special birthday surprise for my daughter. She made herself available through What's App throughout the entire trip and checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything. She is an excellent problem solver, providing extra support during the end of our trip when challenges came up with Southwest Airlines. She took care of booking another flight through American Airlines and rental car to get us home safely. Working with her has been a privilege and I highly recommend working Alyssa for your your next trip abroad.

Alyssa was incredibly attentive, professional, knowledgeable and detail oriented from our first contact to the day we arrived home from our trip. She recommended a location and hotel within our budget that was fabulous- beyond our dreams for a getaway. She was constantly in contact with us to make sure we had our paperwork in order and to let us know about attractions at the location. She even organized with the hotel to have birthday decorations put up for our little boys birthday! Also, she helped secure us a late check out so we could have a relaxed exit. When our flight home was delayed, she was in contact every hour to check in on us and to give us advice. All in all, we had the trip of a lifetime and we owe it all to Alyssa. She will forever be our "person" for our adventures!!

It was great working with Alyssa! We did a Girl’s trip to Las Vegas and Alyssa planned everything from air flights, hotel and limo transportation to and from the airport. I’ve been to Las Vegas many times, but this was my first time staying at the Venetian. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend one of their suites. Alyssa was great!We didn't end up booking due to technical issues with the timing of our trip, but Alyssa was amazing in dealing with all of our questions. She answered all of our calls, emails, and text messages. She is very patient and understanding and went out of her way to try to find us the best possible vacation package that would work for us.
Her generosity really shone through when she didn't charge us anything even after all the hours she dealt with us and us having to put on vacation on hold for the time being.
I will most likely be calling her back soon for some more awesome destinations to go to. Keep up the great work!

Amazing birthday travel
