I feel as if my entire life I’ve loved Disney, and everything about it. I grew up going to Disney World with my family. We stayed at Fort Wilderness and on the first trip my grandparents came along. Then we stayed at the All Stars and Port Orleans French Quarter. What great memories to cherish! It planted the love for Disney World I still carry with me.
In high school I was ecstatic to find out our marching band would be traveling to Disney World and parading down Main Street. As a member of the dance team that was a dream come true and I vowed to do it again! While I was attending Penn State I found out Disney was coming to do auditions, I couldn’t miss out. I still remember the day I found out I was accepted into the College Program in the Entertainment Department (characters!) and was among a select few to be chosen to be an Elfin in the Tapestry of Dreams Parade. To work for Disney and see how they operate behind the scenes was fascinating. I get asked all the time, ‘Didn’t that ruin the magic for you?’ No, it did not, I only appreciated it more!
When my husband and I were planning our honeymoon, I suggested Disney World because he had never been. Well I got him hooked too! He couldn’t believe the level of detail and quality of the services you receive. We even went back for our 1-year anniversary. Now we have two boys who I've passed that 'obsession' onto. We took our boys on their first trip when they were 3 1/2 and 15 months. At first, we thought our youngest would be too young to enjoy it but boy were we wrong! To see him interact and respond to the characters is a wonderful memory we have along with the photos of him trying to put Mickey and Minnie’s noses in his mouth! On our next trip we brought my in laws along. They were in awe after the first day. What they thought would be a once in a lifetime trip has turned into ‘we’re saving already for the next trip, let us know when you’re going!’

This trip was the dream vacation for my seven year old who had been begging to go on this ship since she first saw the commercials airing on the Disney channel almost a year ago. Magical Christmas Surprise!

Melissa helped us plan our trip to Disney World. The trip was a surprise for our kids (9 and 5) that was shared on Christmas Day. We left the day after Christmas and stayed at the Yacht Club Resort for 6 days. Our itineraries were packed with activities (as well as great ideas for breaks and food) and Melissa made sure to make recommendations tailored to our interests. One of the important activities was dining as Space 220 (our oldest is a huge fan) - it didn't look like we were going to get a reservation for our whole group, but Melissa kept looking and on the day that we were in Epcot she was able to book a dinner for all of us to go and enjoy! That was the best meal of the trip! We couldn't be more thankful for Melissa's dedication and insight!

This was my first Disney trip as an adult to plan, and I will never plan any future trips without help from Melissa! Our children are only 4 and 2, so we knew we couldn’t absolutely cram everything in in one week. However, with Melissa’s detailed itinerary, we were able to get in SO much and still enjoy every moment. I really appreciated how knowledgeable Melissa is and how she tailored her suggestions to meet our family’s preferences. She made the initial planning process (choosing dates, hotels, and specific parks) much easier because she balanced what she knew about us with what she knew about the destination. She also saved us time because she spent her time making our reservations and finding answers to our questions. Before leaving, Melissa provided us a detailed itinerary that included tips & tricks for each park, as well as a daily breakdown of her suggestions about what rides to ride and where to eat (even where to find lesser used restrooms!). Planning a trip to Disney World with 4 kids under 12 was completely overwhelming me. I reached out to a friend for recommendations and she couldn't say enough good things about how Melissa Lenox had planned their own Disney adventure. From the beginning, Melissa was personable, quick with responding to any questions I had and reassuring. She helped coordinate our flights, transport to and from the Art of Animation resort and even sent packing lists and suggested daily itineraries. We had an amazing trip in which everyone got to do and see the things that were top of their wish lists. She even made this "less than tech savvy" mom comfortable with the complex Genie Plus system. We made lifelong memories of magic and we could not have done it without Melissa. she is very responsive and helpful with a lot of information on travel tips and what to look out for. Especially on the Disney area, like which rides to go first, what to look out for and information to make your Disney trip the most memorable trip ever.

Melissa went over and beyond what was expected of her. She helped us every step of the way during the planning and even through to the last days of our trip. She was thorough when delivering importation information. Not only was she thorough but she was prompt. Which was the reason why we were able to book all of our reservations. Her knowledge of Disney is exceptional. She helped make our trip a huge success with next to no stress. We had a blast and built may magical memories. We highly recommend her and will definitely be using her services again.
