New Mexico is indeed a land of enchantment - a place where you can explore ancient cultures, breathtaking natural wonders and vibrant cities. With so many attractions from which to choose, you may not know where to begin.  However, by allowing me to serve as your travel agent planner, you can get past this hurdle and plan the ideal New Mexico vacation and getaway. I’ve done my research so you’ll get to experience New Mexico and enjoy every minute of your escape. So, get out your luggage and let’s begin the trip-planning journey. To introduce you - New Mexico is a state located in the southwestern region of the United States. It is bordered by Colorado to the north, Oklahoma and Texas to the east, and Arizona to the west. With an area of 121,593 square miles, New Mexico is the fifth largest state in the US.  The capital city of New Mexico is Santa Fe, which is also the state's fourth largest city. Other major cities in New Mexico include Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Roswell. New Mexico has a diverse landscape that includes deserts, mountains, forests, and canyons. The state is home to several Native American tribes and is also known for its Hispanic culture. Tourism is an important industry in New Mexico and the state's attractions include national parks, skiing areas, museums, and historical sites. Best Natural Attractions There’s no shortage of natural beauty in New Mexico. From the state’s towering mountains to its flowing rivers, you’ll find the scenery amazing and unforgettable. Here are some of the best natural attractions in New Mexico: -The Rio Grande: The Rio Grande is one of the most popular tourist destinations in New Mexico. Stretching. This major stream spans over 1,900 miles and therefore is a great place to go for a swim, fish, or just take in the scenic views. -The Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument: This national monument  and site is home to several ancient cliff dwellings. Visitors can explore the dwellings and learn about the history of the people who once lived there. The Mogollon people built and lived in the ancient homesteads between 1270 and 1300. They were food gatherers and hunters who also included farming in their daily life.  They cultivated plants on mesa tops and next to the banks of the Gila River’s west fork. The site is located in southwest New Mexico. -Carlsbad Caverns National Park: This national park is home to a large network of caves and caverns. Visitors can take tours of the caves, see amazing rock formations, and even spot some bats! I look forward to hearing to book your next trip to the Land of Enchantment.
