Personal Escape Travel has been our travel agent for 30+ years (and growing!) They've confidently piloted our family through trips to Switzerland, Sweden, Bahamas, Italy, India, Hawaii, England, Mexico, even the Amazon Rain Forests. Fortunately for us, Susan was on the case from the jump in 2020 with updates, emails, phone calls & text messages. Not a day went by when she did not at least send a comforting message about what to expect and how it would happen. We got our money back amidst frightening stories about travelers likely never see a return of their money from online travel sites who relied on small print legalese to allow them to wiggle out of refunds.
We re-scheduled our 2020 trip for 2021 when Susan's team told her it was ok and, of course, she and her agents took care of every. Single. Detail. Our 12 day trip to Hawaii went without a hitch in April '21. We're in the midst of planning our family trip for 2022 now, as well.
We've got our travel agent for life.

My family has used Susan and Personal Escapes on several occasions. Our latest adventure was for a party of 12 to Mexico. Sweet 16 Celebration

I would highly recommend working with Susan Blume at Personal Escape Travel. She has been incredibly helpful and always quick to respond whenever we had a question anyone in our group has had as we planned a destination celebration for our daughters' Sweet 16. Magical Disney Birthday

From beachy girls’ trips, a Scotland adventure, my destination wedding, Hawaiian honeymoon or my sons amazing Disney birthday Susan Blume is the best there is!For my latest trip we wanted to give my son a memorable Disney birthday and it sure was. Sue was there every step of the way. Disney has so many hotels and packages it can be so overwhelming and stressful. Sue listened to our wishes and handled it from there. Also, I find it important to mention when working with Sue, she is always there to help you…even while on the trip!

Long story short - 1st class Maui trip booked early, then canceled due to pandemic.Fortunately for us, Susan was on the case with updates, emails, phone calls & text messages. Not a day went by when she did not at least send a comforting message about what to expect and how it would happen. Of course, since Susan has been our travel agent for many years, we count on her for the right products every time, the right trip insurance among them.
We got a full refund of our trip within 30 days, just like Susan promised, while frightening stories were found in the news daily about thousands of travelers who would likely never see a return of their money from well-known online travel sites who relied on small print legalese to allow them to wiggle out of refunds.
So..... Susan was with us through all the good times and, thankfully, helped steer us through the uncertain waters that came upon us all in early 2020.
