Ski Vacations Are The Best Vacations
Steamboat Ski Resort
Our family loves ski vacations. Whether it is near or far, a ski vacation is always fun! Sometimes we are lucky enough to travel with other family and friends-- that makes it twice as sweet. So far, we have skied at:
- Lutsen Mountain, Minnesota
- Boyne Highlands Ski Resort, Michigan
- Big Powederhorn Ski Resort, Michigan
- Big Snow Resort, Michigan
- Steamboat, Colorado
- Vail, Colorado
Our ski trip bucket list is growing fast!So, what do we love so much about ski vacations?
1. A joined hobby/Together time
Our family enjoys downhill skiing. We are that family that gets excited when the first snowflakes fly in anticipation of the ski hills opening. Usually our boys (ages 9 and 13) ski in lessons, races, or clubs. Vacations give us the opportunity to ski together as a family. When I asked my 9- year old what he likes about ski vacations, he said, “I love family ski vacations because I get to ski with family all day.” That says it all!
2. Exploring a new destination
New destinations are fun to explore. Whether you are talking about ski runs, dining options, accommodations, adventure activities, shopping, or spas, every destination has something special to offer. A ski destination is no different. When I asked my 13- year old what he loves about ski vacations, he said, “I love ski vacations because we get to have a lot of family bonding time. Also, if you go to certain places there is more to do besides skiing.” For example, at Steamboat Ski Resort, we rode the longest mountain coaster in north America. That’s a big deal!
3. The great outdoors
While I love a good beach vacation soaking up the sun and sea, being in the mountains (or hills) holds it’s own awe inspiring beauty. The fresh air, the daily exercise, the beautiful scenery all adds up to amazing.
4. Honing our skills
Ski vacations offer you a lot of time out on the slopes skiing different terrain than your used to. This gives everyone in the family time to develop their skills. Our kids come home different skiers every time we travel somewhere to ski- near or far. Learning how to handle more powder than we are used to, longer runs, steeper runs, and different terrain has helped us all become better all- around skiers.

Best Spring Break Adventure with Teens!

Jenny provided me with an itinerary packet before our trip which was amazing! It included our trip itinerary with all of my rentals and hotel confirmation #’s . A life saver for our 7 day Grand Canyon / RT. 66 excursion staying in different hotel rooms each night. Jenny also provided articles and fun ideas for the places we were visiting and after all of my research I kept going back to her recommendations and they were perfect! Ocean Fishing and Sun Bathing

The EASIEST Disney adventure ever!

Right from the start, Jenny was eager to help get our group of 7 from Minneapolis to Orlando. We wanted to stay on Disney property and go to all 4 parks plus Universal Studios. Jenny took care of ALL of it for us! She offered suggestions on resorts, dining, and activities, she booked flights and transportation between the airport and our resort, and was very understanding when 7 family members couldn’t decide on travel dates! Jenny sent us all park maps, personal recommendations, and other information for us to look at the week before we left for our vacation, and she kept in touch so we knew she was available during our trip, too!

The best family vacation ever!

In January, we decided to go to Walt Disney World (WDW) for Spring Break. It was a quick turnaround and Jenny made sure it was a smooth process and stress-free for us. Within 24 hours she shared what was available for lodging onsite and ensured we were reserved for each day at our selected theme parks when booked. Since our last visit to WDW, it was 10+ years ago and Jenny was able to put us at ease and provided all the information necessary for us to have an enjoyable time. This included a last minute request for our room which Jenny took care of right away. Jenny welcomed us to WDW with a thoughtful gift when we arrived to our room which we loved and upon our return, Jenny welcomed us back to make sure everything went smoothly. First Blended Family Vacation - Priceless memories

This was our first time utilizing a travel agent for our family vacation, but it definitely won't be the last! We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Jenny - from the initial intake to checking in with us as we arrived home. Jenny provided a very thorough idea of packages, resort options, excursions and really listened to what we as a family wanted to experience as well as keeping our budget in mind. Her responses to questions whether via text, email, etc were very timely. Jenny was awesome to work with. We’ve never used a travel agent before but with planning a wedding, we just didnt have the bandwidth to take on booking a honeymooon halfway across the world. She listened to what we were looking for and provided just enough options to not make it overwhelming. We gave her our info on where we’re wanted to go, flights with different dates, times, refundable, non-refundable, 1st class vs business class or economy asked her to show us options , etc. She provided many options with all of these choices. Continually answering questions, if she wasn’t sure she didn’t quess, she said I’ll find out and get back to you in a specific time frame. She also provided us with car rental options, tour options. First Disney Trip!

My family just got back from a wonderful trip to Disney World in Florida. We have never been on a Disney vacation, so we needed Jenny's help! This was Jenny's second vacation she has planned for our family! I have always heard that planning a Disney trip can be overwhelming. However, this was not the case for us. Jenny reserved our park tickets, hotel, transportation, and dining reservations for our entire trip! We had the best time at Disney, thanks to Jenny's knowledge! Most Relaxing vacation in the sun

Jenny did awesome job of booking our Mexico vacation. It was a fabulous trip. The transportation Company Amstar was wonderful they were at the airport to pick us up. They arranged our time back to airport and even helped us book excursions they were great. Jenny got us ground floor rooms close to beach. Jenny, is amazing to work with! She goes the extra mile to help ensure your experience is perfect. Even if you email her 10 times in a day she will quickly respond to any and all questions. Our family had never been on a cruise and I was planning for myself, my husband, and two daughters ages 8 and 10. Second Disney Trip planned by Jenny

We just got back from a wonderful Disney Vacation planned by Jenny! Jenny is so knowledgeable and passionate about Disney! This was our second Disney trip she has planned for our family! Her customer service is top notch! Jenny coordinated all of our travel from the airport to our resort at Disney! She also made all of our park reservations for the four days we were there. Jenny was so wonderful and checked on us throughout our trip! She was able to answer all of our questions about Genie +! She also helped us make the best use of our time by sharing recommendations of rides and shows we should see in the park.

Jenny helped us out with our first trip to Disney World. From the start, she provided a great list of accommodations and answered a lot of questions. She was able to recommend places to dine, along with recommended rides and attractions at each park. We had the extreme fortune to work with Jenny on a dream trip to Italy. She was enthusiastic and fun to work with. She not only found flights and excellent lodging options, but she researched, suggested and booked excursions for us. Unfortunately, due to Covid, our trip was cancelled and we were unable to travel as intended. Jenny was very compassionate and worked diligently to get our money refunded. Great Disney/Universal trip

Jenny was very knowledgeable about the process and parks and was willing to go the extra mile even with all the changes during this trying time. Felt very safe at parks. Sanitizer everywhere and masks were not an issue at all. Busiest place was Disney Springs.

If I could rate my experience with Jenny at 10 stars, I would! My boyfriend and I spontaneously bought plane tickets to go to Montana and we had no idea where to begin when it came to planning our trip. That's where Jenny stepped in... She really took over and made the entire process so easy! Not only did she find us the perfect place to stay, she also booked our rental car and sent us great recommendations on what to do, eat and see while on our trip! Great Family Trip to FL!

Jenny did a great job helping us plan out a family vacation to FL. We were frustrated trying to figure out where to take our teenagers. Jenny recommended a perfect location with a great value in Cocoa Beach! The hotel was a block from the beach and right next door to the original Ron Jon Surf Shop. We were close to amazing restaurants, fun activities like mini-golf with gators, kennedy space center, and so much more! Jenny was very engaging in asking us all the right questions to understand our vacation wants! She is super responsive in communicating across email/text which was helpful when the kayak tour needed to be cancelled because of weather. I would highly recommend Jenny to make your vacation outstanding!
