Italy is a beautiful kaleidoscope of landscapes and flavors. I’ve been going to Italy since I studied abroad in England during college. I’ve been to Italy collectively for 5 weeks. I’ve loved every town I’ve visited in Italy. The best trip I have ever taken was a three-week trip to Italy. We did a Tauck tour and staying in the most beautiful and historic places right in the center of each town. I picked this tour because it visited every place I wanted to visit, including Cinque Terre and included an after-hours tour of the Vatican Museum. We started in Sorrento and made our way up to Venice. I loved that we spend three nights in each of the larger cities since there was so much to explore. I loved having the amazing food including pesto gnocchi in Cinque Terre, buffalo de mozzarella in Sorrento, and yummy pizza in Rome. The canals in Venice were fun to cruise. There are so many memories from that trip that I cherish and make me smile. That’s what it is all about to me. I’m so thankful I get to help others plan amazing trips so that they have their own memories to smile back on.

Kate is fantastic to work with! From the very beginning she made everything simple. She listened to everything that we wanted and got all of it and more. She helped with our flights and even set up a pick up for all 11 of our travelers to get from my house to the airport! I don’t fly much so I had a million questions about flight with 3 kids. She answered all of my questions and never once seemed annoyed that I was asking so many. At one point she even asked if we needed to borrow a bag! I mean she made this trip planning process as smooth as possible. Then when the unexpected happened and everything started canceling due to the corona virus she again went above and beyond for us. She laid out all of our options and made sure we got all of our money back. We are not so patiently waiting to get with her to plan our next vacation! Couldn’t ask for a better person to plan your trip. I highly recommend Kate.

Amazing Disney Trip

When my daughter-in-law asked my sister and me to join her and my three grandchildren to go to Florida to the beach and then on to Disney World, we jumped at the chance to go! When we started to look in to all that goes into a trip to Disney World, it blew our minds. My sister knew Kate and we contacted her for help to plan our trip. Kate planned the most flawless vacation for us. Everything was PERFECT! She was wonderful with three completely confused adults and took care of everything. We have a wonderful memory. Our group of retired teacher friends was looking for a different place to explore. After much discussion we decided on Morocco and contacted Kate for suggestions. Morocco was a new destination for her, and after some research, she suggested that Insight Tours would provide a reasonable price point as well as include the type of sites and experiences we wanted. She was 100% correct.We experienced a wonderful ten days with a great tour director, stayed in lush hotels, enjoyed delicious meals, and saw many diverse highlights of this amazing country. We had a few setbacks with dates and flights, but Kate worked with Insight to ensure we were able to travel close to our original schedule.
Indeed, the trip is one we all will remember forever!

Fabulous trip that was a trip of a lifetime from start to finish. Kate planned a river cruise that went from Paris to Normandy and then she planned a trip for us in the Cotswolds making it possible for me to fulfill my dream of seeing Highclere Castle. We even attended a tea with Lord and Lady Carnarvon and got to see their yellow lab puppies. We really loved Jerusalem and saw so many wonderful things. We had a great time at the Dead Sea, wish we could have spent and extra day there! I was surprised how beautiful Jordan is! The people in Jordan are so friendly and they have so many sights to see. We visited Petra and Wadi Rum. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Kate has arranged a trip to Europe and a trip to Disney World for our family, and I am very glad that I used her services for both trips. The Europe trip was a 2020 graduation celebration for our two children. First, she gave us good advice on what to look for in a tour and helped us find the tour that was exactly what we wanted. Then, when the trip was cancelled (twice) due to the pandemic, she handled all of the rescheduling details, including the trip insurance, tour company, and airline. On our last booking, she even had a coupon code that she applied to get us a better deal! When our trip finally did happen, she was in communication with us along the way to make sure things were going smoothly. Kate was very helpful in planning the Disney World trip, too. We are very happy with all that Kate did for us and will definitely use her services for future travel plans.

Kate took care of our honeymoon planning. My wife and I spent 5 days hiking Ireland, followed by 5 days in Paris. Trip was cancelled due to the pandemic

We were so fortunate to have worked with Kate Newland (www.katesworldtravel.com) when planning our "bucket list" trip to Israel. She was very knowledgeable of the best options, gave us many ideas and choices to consider, and provided us with common sense pros & cons with each option.She was very patient and answered our 100's of questions and helped us choose and plan between the many excursions which were available. We ended up with what appeared to be our dream trip.
When the pandemic hit and countries implemented strict travel measures and quarantine rules for individuals traveling through their countries it affected our travel plans and our tour group cancelled our trip. Kate went above and beyond to keep us fully informed on the daily changes in travel restrictions and cancellations .....always displaying the same friendly, patient, caring and professional disposition.

Excellent UK Trip!

Kate set us up with a great trip to the UK. We were looking at colleges and vacationing. Kate got us good airfare, and hotels in excellent locations, both were easy walking distance from our targeted schools. Our London hotel was a very high end place (we probably would not have been able to afford it if Kate hadn't gotten us a great package deal) and was located right down town. We are thinking about Scotland next year and will definitely be contacting Kate.
