The main strip, Parkway, buzzed with activity, lined with an array of attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our cozy cabin, tucked away in a serene wooded area, provided a perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.Exploring the Great Smoky Mountains The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We spent a full day hiking the trails, marveling at the lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and diverse wildlife. The Clingmans Dome hike, though challenging, rewarded us with panoramic views that stretched for miles. The tranquility and natural beauty of the park were truly soul-refreshing.Dollywood and Family Fun No visit to Pigeon Forge is complete without a trip to Dollywood. The Titanic Museum, a half-scale replica of the infamous ship, offered an immersive and educational experience about the tragic voyage. The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud provided a hilarious and engaging performance, complete with a hearty Southern meal. The Old Mill Square, with its historic gristmill, offered unique crafts and delicious treats. We couldn't resist the homemade candies from the Country Candy Kitchen and the hearty meals at The Old Mill Restaurant, where we savored Southern staples like fried chicken, biscuits, and gravy.Adventure and Relaxation For a bit of adventure, we visited the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, enjoying the thrill of racing down the mountain at our own pace. The Outdoor Gravity Park, with its zorbing experience, was another highlight, providing laughs and excitement.To unwind, we spent some time at The Island in Pigeon Forge, a lively entertainment complex with shops, restaurants, and a beautiful Ferris wheel.
