Hungary and Europe expert
My hometown, Szentes.
Magyarország that's how we say it. It's where I grew up, my birthplace and childhood home. When I turned 25 I made the move, to the USA. I still hold onto my Hungarian roots. I visit often to see my family and friends who still reside there. Having experience of Hungary I can show you around Budapest, a city known as the "Paris of the East " split by the beautiful Danube River. Situated in Central Europe Hungary prefers not to be labeled as Eastern European.
Apart from Budapest's charm, Hungary's countryside offers landscapes with hills, vineyards aplenty and serene rivers flowing through. Exploring towns like Eger, Szentendre and Kalocsa unveils Hungary's heritage through their quaint streets lined with churches and traditional artisan workshops.
For food lovers Hungary is a delight with dishes like goulash, langos (fried dough) and chimney cake paired perfectly with wines from Tokaj and Eger regions. Hungarian cuisine thrives on ingredients and robust flavors.
Beyond its gastronomic offerings Hungary is a paradise for nature enthusiasts seeking adventures, amidst its scenic beauty.
A trip to Hungary promises a memorable journey filled with unforgettable moments and a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural heritage.
