You can tell you are in for more than the regular all-inclusive experience with your arrival transfer onboard a private catamaran exclusively for Impressions Isla Mujeres guests.    As you arrive at the private dock and are greeted by your own butler, a cool cloth, and a glass of champagne, you know that you are in for a special experience!   

We had the opportunity to dine in the  Italian restaurant (Spezia) and steakhouse (Wildfire Grill) for dinner and they were both delicious.  With only 125 rooms, the restaurants (of which there are 5!)  never felt crowded and, contrary to what you might expect from an all-inclusive, felt like a meal you would order at any top restaurant.

I spent most of my time enjoying the ocean and the pools.  If you have seen the pictures of the gorgeous docks with the umbrellas and cabanas…well, it is even more gorgeous in person! There is also a small beach if you prefer to have your toes in the sand.  I prefer being up out of the sand while still enjoying the ocean by lounging in a chair under an umbrella on the dock.  I even got into the ocean in the little cove built by the docks to swim around a bit and participate in a very fun aqua-aerobics class.  The added benefit of this dock-enclosed cove is that there were no high waves even though just beyond the enclosure, the ocean was quite rough.   We also had attentive servers who kept me stocked with Coke Zeros, mojitos and of course, snacks!  I am an umbrella gal, and the attendants came by regularly to help shift my umbrella to keep me shaded and one even cleaned by glasses when I got sunscreen on them.

The hydrotherapy in the spa was relaxing, the plunge pool on our balcony was great for a dip without having to leave the comfort of our room and the sunsets were magical. For exclusivity, serenity, and a luxurious experience, look no further than Impression Isla Mujeres!
