My trip to this enchanting city was a journey through time, filled with awe-inspiring architecture, world-renowned art, and the irresistible charm of Tuscan life.Arriving in Florence, I was immediately struck by the city's timeless beauty. The iconic Duomo, with its intricate marble facade and towering dome designed by Brunelleschi, dominated the skyline, while the Arno River flowed gracefully through the heart of the city, its waters reflecting the golden hues of sunset.Wandering through the winding streets of Florence's historic center, I felt as though I had been transported back to the days of the Renaissance. Everywhere I turned, I encountered architectural wonders – from the imposing Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria to the elegant Ponte Vecchio, lined with jewelers' shops and offering stunning views of the city.Of course, no trip to Florence would be complete without immersing oneself in its rich artistic heritage. Visiting the Uffizi Gallery, I marveled at masterpieces by the likes of Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci, each painting a window into the soul of the Renaissance. Exploring the Accademia Gallery, I stood in awe before Michelangelo's iconic statue of David, its marble perfection a testament to the genius of the artist.But it was not only the grandeur of Florence's art and architecture that captivated me – it was also the city's vibrant street life and bustling markets. Strolling through the Mercato Centrale, I sampled artisanal cheeses, freshly baked bread, and ripe tomatoes bursting with flavor, while the aroma of espresso lingered in the air.As the sun set over Florence, casting a warm glow over its historic streets, I found myself filled with a sense of gratitude for the experiences I had shared and the memories I had made. Florence had captured my heart with its beauty, its history, and its timeless charm, leaving me longing to return and explore more of its enchanting streets and hidden treasures. And though my time in this Renaissance masterpiece may have come to an end, its spirit will forever live on in my soul, a reminder of the enduring power of art, culture, and the human spirit.

On our way back from visiting family in Genoa, we decided to visit Portofino. Diana booked accommodation for us in La Spezia, and the following day we took the ferry to Portofino. What amazing views as we approached the town. We walked around for a bit and then per her suggestion had lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the bay. This was one of our favorite stops on the Italian Riviera.

Live Nativity near Todi, Umbria

This was our first visit to Todi in Umbria over the holidays. What a beautiful part of Italy's Greenbelt, surrounded by endless green hills and hilltop towns and villages. Diana suggested that we attend the Live Nativity in Fratta Todina in early January. This was only a 20 minute drive from where we were staying. In Italy, January 5 is when they celebrate the 3 Kings bringing gifts to baby Jesus. The whole village from young to old is involved in the reenactment as they walk up the only main streets covered in cobblestones and with merchants on either side selling from roasted chestnuts, to food and paintings. Our children loved this experience and are still talking about it. Thank you again, Diana!

Family reunion in Tuscany

Our family is in different parts of the country and we decided to have a 10-year family reunion in Tuscany. Diana booked our flights, took care of all our accommodation, rental car and also booked a private driver for when we needed a break from driving ourselves around. Our group consisted of several adults and a few children under 10. She suggested outings that not only the adults would enjoy, but it would also be a fun and exciting for the kids. She also organized a couple of cooking lessons where the children were involved with the adults in making pizza and pasta. We are proud to say that we now have our own little "Italian chefs" in the family. Thanks again Diana for making this a memorable family reunion.

Diana organized our honeymoon, which included a day trip to Cinque Terre. What an amazing experience that was. She suggested we travel by train from La Spezia, get off at the last village, do some sightseeing then return by ferry. She guided us in booking the train and ferry tickets, and was knowledgeable of the area as she had been there before. We went on a family trip to Cape Town and could not believe the beauty that surrounded us all around. Diana knows Tuscany very well and last year while we were visiting Cortona where "Under the Tuscan Sun" was filmed, we included a trip to Siena which is just over 1 hour away by car. Diana was incredible in finding the perfect destination for my honeymoon. I told her what we were looking for and she was able to present a variety of options to us. I told her I did not want the run of the mill honeymoon destination, but at the same time I wanted it to be romantic, adventurous and exotic. I found a gem when I accidentally found Diana and her Travel Agency. She organized our honeymoon on the Amalfi Coast and booked us at the best hotel with an amazing view of the Gulf of Naples and the island of Capri in the distance. She also organized a private car service with an English speaking driver, which made communicating so much easier.My wife's suitcase with her wedding dress was mislaid on the flight from Scotland to Italy. Diana personally took it on herself to contact someone she knew and the suitcase was delivered to the hotel in record time.
She is very knowledgeable and detailed oriented.
