Lively Colombia Street Scenery
Every time I visit Colombia, I enjoy the diverse landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and such warm hospitality. The Caribbean and Pacific coastlines offer so much beauty and relaxation. The Amazon rain forest covers a part of the country and provides adventure and a peaceful itinerary. I will also always hold their coffee, animated music and dance, like salsa and cumbia, close to my heart.
Medellin and Cartagena have amazing sites that include their historical heritage that hold so much value and information on Colombia's roots. The Aburra valley always having the perfect weather along with the cable carts, provide the perfect touch of delight while feeling a sense of contentment once reaching the top. My favorite part is Cartagena, that offers so much significance in their history. The beautiful churches and forts bring me joy and not to mention the lovely beaches that are right along the liveliest street scenes.
Attending to my fondness of museums and art collections is Bogota. I enjoy to see the colonial architecture surrounded by mountains. The Gold Museum and Botero Museum hold all the treasures of their art and I never leave without going to the mountain top of Monserrate where there is a church and it's sweeping view high above.
San Andres, an island that allows you to retire away from the world and enjoy what is in front of you, is stunning/ the crystal-clear turquoise waters is a popular spot. There are so many activities I have enjoyed there like snorkeling, scuba diving, and windsurfing.
Off the Caribbean coast of Colombia is Isla de Baru which I highly recommend for all to visit at least once. Isla de Baru has such pristine beaches and clear waters which gives you a tranquil and tropical experience. It is easily accessible by a boat and offers the best pictures and an unwind in your own tropical paradise.
