Colorado Vacations
Light Up The NIght, Steamboat Springs, Colorado
One of my favorite states to visit is Colorado, home of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. My family & I have been traveling there for over 19 years. Once we took our kids skiing out west we never looked back. Our home away from home is in northwest Colorado, Steamboat Springs, the second largest ski resort in the country. Steamboat is known for sending the most athletes to the Olympics and they're known for their snow. The snow is so powdery, it actually has been trademarked as "Champagne Powder."
My kids grew up in Steamboat, they learned to ski and snowboard here and we know it like the back of our hand. We have skied, snowboarded, went snow-shoeing, snow-mobiling, swam in the hot springs, tubed down the Yampa River, and hiked Mt. Werner.
I have visited Rocky Mountain National Park on several occasions, ate dinner at the Stanley Hotel (Home of the movie, The Shining) and toured it as well. I know Boulder, Colorado extremely well. One of my sons went to college there.
With my expertise over the years traveling to Colorado I feel confident guiding others where to stay, eat, and what to see when visiting the Rockies.
