In Ottawa, the nation's capital, the iconic Parliament Hill and the picturesque Rideau Canal provided a scenic backdrop for exploring Canada's political and cultural heart. We saw the changing of the guard which reminds one of their counterparts in London UK.  There's two locations where this happens here Parliament and the Rideau Hall (be sure to check out the pink and white striped room!). The diverse museums, including the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of History, offers a deeper understanding of the country's rich past.

Finally the maritime provinces, where the rugged coastline and charming fishing villages defined the landscape. Exploring the historic sites of Halifax, the picturesque beauty of Prince Edward Island, and the stunning landscapes of Cape Breton Island's Cabot Trail completed the Canadian odyssey.
