If you are looking for something a bit intimate, I would recommend Megève in France, which is one hour from the Geneva airport. Apart from the skiing, it is also a beautiful little town, with wonderful hotels and exquisite cuisine.  

Megève has courses for skiers at every level: beginning, intermediate or advanced. Still, there will always be those who want the most challenging course possible, and for those clients I recommend Gstaad, Switzerland, a beautiful town with miles of skiing which never seems to end. There is also another area in Switzerland called Surmont, which is near the Matterhorn. There is no way to describe the sensation of waking up in the morning and seeing this enormous mountain staring back at you.
