Italy is a vast tapestry of history, cultural significance, and a ceaseless supply of picturesque landscapes unfolding at every turn. I began my Italian adventure in Rome, where ancient wonders harmoniously coexist with the vibrant pulse of modern life – and delicious culinary spots on every corner! (Avola extra-dark chocolate at Gelateria del Teatro, anyone?!)
Nestled within the cobblestone streets of the historic Trastevere district, the Villa Agrippina Gran Melia Rome served up an amazing blend of comfort and charm. The perfect neighborhood to explore as I made my way to the Vatican and the Colosseum, where the stories of gladiator duels and roaring crowds paint a picture of historic Rome. You can’t miss the Pantheon’s spectacular celestial dome. An iconic symbol of Rome’s architectural genius, and The Sistine Chapel is everything you imagine. (*But trust me on this, the small cost of a private viewing, away from the long lines and the pack crowds, was definitely worth the extra expense! (Side note: A friend recommended CasaManco for their pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice). I think I ate my weight in the Pear & Gorgonzola!)
Leaving Rome behind, I headed into the golden hills of Tuscany. The Chianti region became my home base for the second part of my Italian adventure. The fragrance of vineyards and olive groves wafted through the air, and magical evenings spent savoring local wines and indulging (I will not lie, I indulged!) in delectable Tuscan cuisine.
Exploring the enchanting town of Siena felt like a spirited journey through time. One of the best parts of the trip was spent wandering the medieval streets of San Gimignano, with its iconic towers punctuating the skyline, silent sentinels to centuries of history. But, Montepulciano. Hard to describe. As both a lover of wine and incredible beauty, this is a must-stop. Fantastic day, sipping Vino Nobile while taking in panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside.
My Italian adventure left me with memories that felt like I transcended time, and transported me back in time. Italy is a country with a rich tapestry of history, culinary surprises, stunning landscapes, and friendly locals. I can’t wait to go back, to explore Florence, the Amalfi Coast, and the dozens of charming places that make Italy one of the most beautiful countries in the world!

Christopher’s recommendations really felt like insider tips. Because he lived in Madrid, I ended up doing things I probably would have missed out on. Loved shopping at El Rastro Flea Market (it’s huge!). And, Toledo was the perfect day excursion. After a few packed days in Barcelona, Christopher sent me to Cadeques, which was one of my favorite parts of the trip, and wasn't on my radar. The beach is beautiful and the food is out of this world. Had a great time touring Dali's house, too. Christopher knows Spain! I was worried about all the details but he was patient and knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions. I really appreciated how he incorporated my many interests into the trip. All in all a pretty stress-free experience. Highly recommend Christopher if you’re planning a trip to Spain!

I can not say enough good things about Chris! My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary as a 2 week vacation in Greece and Italy. Chris had the task of building our itinerary with only 1.5mo lead time... and it was AMAZING! He was thorough but not overbearing and planned a trip tailored to our wants - eating our way through Europe :) Packed with history tours, cooking classes, even reservations at top notch restaurants. Smooth sailing (literally!) from start to finish. The catamaran cruise in Santorini was a great recommendation and the highlight of the trip. We were nervous about the cooking lesson but it was so fun! We started in Athens and hit Crete and Santorini. It was a pretty packed agenda because we wanted to see so much but Christopher did a great job of balancing it so we had down time to explore on our own. If you're going to Greece, we highly recommend Christopher.

Christopher helped my partner and I plan a visit to Paris for four nights as an "add-on" to a trip to Spain. Neither of us had been to Paris before. He recommended accommodations in a part of town (the Marais) that was centrally located to the sightseeing, museums, and food destinations that we wanted to do (and Christopher suggested). He was understood the limitation and benefits about the time of year we were visiting (August; Paris Plages! Limited services at some places) so our expectations aligned with reality when we arrived. Paris is the type of place that you can get easily sucked into tourist traps of bad food and throngs of people; Christopher helped us get off the beaten path and find dining and sightseeing gems less traveled by tourists. We'd highly recommended Christopher to plan a trip; he was friendly, knowledgeable, and - most importantly - passionate about travel and invested in our experience.

I had a fantastic time working with Christopher on my dream vacation to Greece. Started off for a couple of days in Athens which was fun, but the real showstopper was Santorini. Christopher didn’t just book me in a hotel; he handpicked a slice of paradise! Waking up to those white-washed houses I get jealous about in every Instagram post of Greece was like a dream. And the food... OMG, I’ve never eaten so well (and so much! No regrets, lol!) in my life. Thanks to Christopher’s recommendation, I even tried my hand at a Greek cooking class. Our first trip with Christopher was also our first one to Turkey, and our first with a travel agent. From the first email, communication with Christopher was a breeze. Prompt, detailed and professional! Our plans were not simple, but he was able to piece together an organized, easy-to-follow itinerary. Loved the personal attention. Working with Christopher was a dream. He was so on top of all of our accommodations and planning; it took all the anxiety out of traveling! We started in Rome where Christopher lined up tickets for a guided Vatican tour, The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and so much more. Then he set us up with a rental car which was such an easy process. We struck out north towards Sienna, where he lined up our stay at a gorgeous villa called Tenuta Larnianone, known for it's high end Chianti and olive oil. From there, we were easily able to hit Florence for The David and Il Duomo, Montepulciano, Greve, Pienza, and many more small hill towns. We wrapped up with a Venice leg, where Christopher landed us a killer hotel right on Piazza San Marco. He got us reservations at the cutest restaurant right on a canal. It was a magical way to end our time in Italy. We had the trip of a lifetime and will forever be thankful for Christopher's expertise and passion for providing such amazing traveling services.

Awesome experience with Christopher! He’s so responsive and knowledgeable. He saved us time and money on our multi-city trip to Italy. It can be very cumbersome to plan and execute a two-week trip for 6 adults, but Christopher made it seamless. We flew into Rome, drove a rental car to Siena and toured the Tuscan countryside and then drove to Venice, where we spent 3 days before flying home. Christopher was so fun and helpful to work with! I won’t plan any future trips without him.
