I started playing golf with my uncle at the age of eight. I later played on the golf team at the University of Miami Coral Gables and on the professional LPGA tour from 1968-1986. This wonderful sport took me to beautiful destinations all over the world and put me in contact with people I never would have met otherwise.

I am now able to draw on those experiences to share some of the world's great golfing destinations with my clients, many of whom have been with me for years.

GOLF IN THE USA

Since I have lived in California for 38 years, I am well-acquainted with cities in the San Diego area and also Las Vegas. I have personal experience with some of the best golf destinations on the East Coast (Monster Course, Concorde, New York and Pleasant Valley Massachusetts are among my favorites) and Florida (Palm Springs, Doral, Pritiken, Port St Lucy and Jupiter all have great courses.) 

THE UNITED KINGDOM & BEYOND

Among my favorite golfing destinations are:

• The Old Course at St Andrews, Scotland
• Sunnydale, outside London, is interesting and challenging
• Tokyo has wonderful courses with stunning views of Mount Fuji and the Pacific Ocean. I once played in a televised exhibition match outside Toyko in the cold and snowand got to attend a wedding in the mountains!

WHERE TO STAY

In Tokyo, I like to put my clients at The Imperial Hotel. In London—one of my favorite cities—I like the Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Peninsula and Ritz-Carlton. I also like boutique hotels like the Neri in Barcelona and The Jefferson in Washington, DC.
